I am going to be going to Ft Rucker in 3 weeks to start my training. I will go to Wocs first, then Dunker, then SERE-C, then finally start Flight training for the Apache Longbow. It is videos like this that get me excited about what I am getting ready to do.
Thanks for this, very nice.. Army Aviation, ABOVE THE BEST! Hooah!I still have Dad's Army Aviation Wings from 1965. I wear them on a new ACU hat; whenever someone asks, they get the full story. I'm the proud son of a US Army Aviator that "flew the friendly skies" of South Vietnam, "Rattlers/Firebirds" '65-'66. My Active Duty uncle gave me the ACU. I thought it'd be cool to mix OLD Army wings with a NEW Army hat. May God bless and protect you all...
U.S. Air Force=5,573 aircraft, 327,000 personel, and 450 ICBM's,
yea, netherlands air force is spec compared to the us air force, and is no where near the best. Netherland may have a few good fighter jets, but that means nothing compared to over 1,800 better fighter jets. sorry
I know what you mean. In the US it's quantity over quality. Because we don't have many aircraft, only the best of the best become pilots, while in the US, numbnuts can fly aircraft too. I know this from personal experience, being trained at Ft. Rucker. So yeah, the US have the bigger numbers, the Netherlands have the better pilots.
COL Gabram came to our class also. He came to our ROTC Military Ball and by some chance from hell i was put sitting next to him. Talk about the best thing to ever happen to me... great guy - not to mention a bad ass
COL Gabram ('No mercy') came to our military science class. Such a treat - such an inspiration. 3 more years til aviation school for me. Keep it up to everyone who is there and was - this is a great tribute. Great inspiration dude!!
