@icefly20 Work on leveling up for a bit. Guessing you probably need more endurance and a lil more practice backstabbing and you'll be okay. If you are stuck on the armored bull just run upstairs and firebomb him till he dies.

And about humanity, if you stay alive long enough in an area and kill enough enemies before fighting the area boss you get a humanity. Not sure if you can use the bonfire to gain more but it takes a long time to get one.

Somebody may have said this already, but you DO want to buy the key from the merchant. The master key doesn't unlock everything, so if you find merchants selling keys, you usually want to buy them.

Making good time, NL. Parrying is such a great skill to get down, although it takes strength and shield upgrading to pull on tougher foes. Backstabs can be risky and leave you vulnerable to foes behind other foes (and being backstabbed yourself), so use that with some discretion!

Warning since you are playing do NOT KILL PEOPLE RANDOMLY OR YOU WILL BE FUCKED specially vendors that sell you stuff or if you want to press your luck killing them will make them drop something plus souls. However they will not respawn and you will have to beat the game and replay it or create a new game!

@deathnotehell1 I don't know about that. I do know the more humanity you have, the higher the chance of monsters dropping items. If you were correct, the game would get a bit easy if you killed 50 monsters without dying. :)

I think good battle mechanics are a big part of a good game: Moonstone: A Hard days knight, Maplestory, Mount and Blade Warband and wolfiregames' overgrowth all have good fighting mechanics and are all some of my favourites. Just wanted to share some games=)

Northernlion! As the self proclaimed Dark Souls vet I am I noticed you have a habit of keeping your shield up constantly during combat. If you lower it your stamina will recharge faster. This helps you keep your stamina up in tense fights. Anyway I'm glad you're LPing Dark Souls.

@CloudStrifeMakoCod Why the hostility? It's a good thing to keep you stamina up during a battle. If you have no stamina you can't block incoming attacks even in you have your shield up. So really only have your shield up when there is an attack incoming.

1 on 1, or 1 on 4, depending what determines you being the winner of a fight is THE WEAPON, move sets are vital, recommending a spear type weapon for multiple enemies allowing you to keep a slight distance
