enjoy mr waters - i've seen floyd a few times and david gilmour is very tasteful - i like this guitar so much I don't think i'll ever sell it
I, too, am a Pink Floyd fan! Actually, gonna see Roger Waters with the Wall when he comes to Holland. April 2011.
Love the guitar! I wanted to buy a Squier Classic Vibe 50s 'cos I wanted a strat (still don't have one) and it came in this colour! (White/gold/maple)

Hi, I did not see this mentioned but if someone did, please forgive for not spotting this.
Is your guitar a solid white color or a vintage blonde see thru color?
Thanks

its a see thru - the body is ash so you can see the wood grain underneath - one of the reasons i liked it
Thanks for the reply. Man no wonder you labeled it David Gilmour because it's just like his. It sounds great too. Nice playing.
no problem - thanks for your comments too
what kind of stratocaster is this ?

Is this a cross between min. penta and natural minor?
MacDrevi0us 2 years ago
It is, but I really just played what sounded right.
Right on. How long you been playin?
a few years now on and off - i'd like to be better but am too lazy to practice
Nice playing, but your tone is just a little bit dry for a gilmour imitation. Mess around with the Mid and Treble nobs on your amp. Beautiful guitar.

thanks - not really meant to be a gilmour tone though, i just liked the sound

What effects are you using? Is it just delay?
delay and some overdrive from a boss turbo distortion
Nice playing, love the guitar. Thinking about making a guitar one like the one you modeled after Davids.

thanks a lot, I looked for the guitar for a long time its just such an icon - the custom shop will cost you around $4500 for a relic. I played one recently - great but not worth the money unless you're the man himself!
damn that is sweet playing....
