I have an idea on how goths, vamps, emos, punks, nerds, and geeks can get their culture back. Since Mainstream has almost swallowed all of these styles that means that casual, middle class and high class fashions are no longer trendy. So what I do is get some of those "high fashion slut wear" that you'd normally see in either pink or bright blue, Dye them black and walk around. The genra fakes see them, then end up wearing them in their normal colors because they couldn't find them in black.

I have an idea on how goths, vamps, emos, punks, nerds, and geeks can get their culture back. Since Mainstream has almost swallowed all of these styles that means that casual, middle class and high class fashions are no longer trendy. So what I do is get some of those "high fashion slut wear" that you'd normally see in either pink or bright blue, Dye them black and walk around. When I was in high school, the counselors would get "concern" because of the way I dressed, black and white, mainly. Be who you want to be. Screw anyone who tries to catogorize or judge you. Wear want you want to wear for no other reason than feeling like it. You don't need to "fit in" but if you try so hard to "stand out" you'll always end up with people jumping on the bandwagon and wrecking it for you. If you dress the way you do to be different, it will eventually backfire. Dress the way you want to BECAUSE you want to. No other reason.

I'm a metal head and I wear all black and all my shirts are band shirts, but I have no piercings and I don't have any tattoos. I don't dress in black for the "style" I do wear it because its what I like to wear. All these poser scene kids are giving the people who actually dress that way cause they like it a bad name and then they get called posers. I fucking hate scene kids! At least emos, Goths and metal heads have there style not because it's cool but because it's what they truly like.
