Ok, so you don't like Never back down because it's a fighting movie that's not based on Karate. And they have some resemblance to the stories, but that doesn't mean, that it's a rip-off. o.oIt's a great movie, I personally like it more than Karate kid (quite frankly I find Karate kid to be stupid). All movies have similar storylines, as they all follow the hero's journey. It's true that Never Back Down has similiar storyline to Karate kid. However, it is different from the karate kid and appeals to a new generation that uses mixed martial arts rather than ineffective karate.
