  • NOLAN, CHRIS, CHRIS, NOLAN, NOLAN, CHRIS, CHRIS, NOLAN

  • Fish fish...masala masala

  • FISHY! FISHY PASTA PASTA!

  • What are they saying exactly and what language?

  • @BassBitz It seems they are saying "De-shay de-shay, Bashara bashara". Christian Bale asked the question during the trailer about what that means, and someone told to him "He rise" ... Probably Bane ? Who knows.

  • @Thenamthing Will Bane rise, or will Ra's Al Ghul rise?

  • @takebackgotham lol not sure about Ra's Al Ghul but since this is more into Bane i guess its him well hope the next movie is about Ra's Al Ghul it would be awesome and penguin too :D

  • @Hell31 You do realize there are reports that someone has been cast as a young Ra's Al Ghul AND that Liam Neeson will be reprising his role as adult Ra's Al Ghul, right? Whether will be flashbacks or an actual resurrection scene remains to be seen (it would be interesting to see how Nolan will make a resurrection believable/realistic). If you think about it, "the fire rises" could be a reference to Goyer/Nolan's version of the Lazarus pit, although at this point, everything is guesswork.

  • @takebackgotham For now, we don't have any information about Ra's Al Ghul. There's only rumors about him. Liam Neeson will returns, it is sure, but is it in flashbacks or no ? ... That's also why a lot of fans are thinking that Marion Cotillard will play his daughter Talia. But for the song, between us, I believe it's for Bane, the "great" vilain of The Dark Knight Rises.

  • @Thenamthing (sigh) I know that, but like I said, everything is guesswork at this stage. Cotillard already said her character is not based in the comics so that PROBABLY (but not 100%) means she won't be Talia. As for the "great" villain being Bane, we don't know for sure because this is Nolan. He could bring out Ra's Al Ghul at the very end for all we know. Before someone tries to argue and/or correct me, keep in mind that I am not arguing for any one position.

  • @takebackgotham Exactly what I was thinking to after Bruce completes his journey as Batman after beating Bane (hopefully) Ras comes and gives a epic speech to end the movie, somewhat like The Dark Knight Ending. thats how I want it to end.

  • @takebackgotham I hope the latter!

  • @Thenamthing if that mean (he rise)..so that's for BATMAN and not for BANE , as indicated by the title of the movie - the dark knight RISES -

  • @themahermax Maybe, but the line is not told to Christian Bale, but someone else. That's why I thought it was for Bane, but maybe I'm wrong.

  • @Thenamthing Nolan likes multiple meanings (he said "The Dark Knight" could refer to Dent's transformation to Two-Face) so "rise" could have multiple meanings. "This evil rises" (from the 1st trailer) probably references Bane, but of course, The Dark Knight has to rise (the title of the film after all). It is also possible Ra's will rise from the dead, either literally or figuratively (Batman will become the new Ra's Al Ghul). Again, this is all guesswork. Will Gotham rise, too?

  • @themahermax Also keep in mind Nolan likes to misdirect and mislead us by playing with the audio, shifting lines, and playing with meanings. Who would have thought that "You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain" would have such an ironic twist at the end when Dent is the one who dies/lives long enough to see himself become the villain even though he's saying it to Bruce.

  • @Thenamthing I think they are saying this is Gotham or this is Arkham.

  • @Thenamthing It's just 'Rise".

  • @BassBitz The language: we don't know. It is probably the made-up language Ken Watanabe was using in Batman Begins. According to Zimmerman, the composer, they are saying deshi basara. What it means, we will have to see the film to find out to know for sure although based on the trailer, it PROBABLY means either "the fire rises" or "rises" (but we can't be sure). Others online are guessing Arabic, Chinese, Moroccan (?), so bottom line: we don't know.

  • @takebackgotham Not arabic, I know that.

Probably means: '''Bane, rise, rsie bane rise, rise''

  • @BassBitz it means Rise

  • @BassBitz Rise in Marocco

  • someone sample this and make a BEAT!

  • Can I get an extended version of this?

  • peixe peixe passaro banza

  • Bane bane matalo matalo

  • THIS IS BUTTER, BUTTER!

  • I dono y but the chant sounds similar to a persian saying that is used in the Army

  • @ssniy Bane's mexican, are there any ties between the Persian language and Spanish I wonder?

  • @Convenientsalmon Not really. Farsi (the principle language of Iran) is more of a cousin to English than it is to Spanish. All are Indo-European languages, but Spanish is a Latin derivative, English is a Germanic derivative, and Farsi is closer to the Germanic.

  • @Convenientsalmon This Bane seems to be British, but it's okay. Why? He seems to be working with the League which is an international organization (where else would men gladly sacrifice their lives for "the cause"; the "fire" could be the Lazarus Pit; ) so he could have been born somewhere but raised somewhere else. So many languages that they probably managed to make up their own secret one by combining elements of different ones. Don't know for sure! We'll have to find out!

  • @takebackgotham

My guess is that Bane's taken over Liam Neeson's role as leader of his organization, and flashbacks will show that.

Also, there were no mentions of al Ghul or whatever his name is being supernatural. Nolan wouldn't introduce something as blatantly fantastic as dead people coming back into his series.

  • @crabfight There is a mention, the little tease at the end of Batman Begins. "Is Ra's al Ghul immortal? Are his methods supernatural?" Of course, I know Nolan's not going to "introduce something as blatantly fantastic as dead people coming back into the series" so if he does bring in the Lazarus pit, the question is "What is it?" An induction ceremony for a "new" Ra's Al Ghul, perhaps? (I really don't know)

  • HANS! HANS! ZIMMER! ZIMMER!

  • @wickedguy61 The best indeed ! The second Trailer of "The Dark Knight Rises" is on my chanel if you wanna see ... Enjoy !
