  • wow! thanks, only in the movies.

  • I could watch this over, and over again. Thanks for sharing this!!!!

  • thnak You!

  • It is pretty charming when they can make compound interest funny over a handful of scenes, whereas today they crank out film after film without a joke or a bit of charm in it. Sad.

  • this movie was great, and i love the line were jean arthur says to edward arnold,, "don't be so mad cause your stupid,, love it

  • It must be fate that I stumbled upon this movie today, the anniversary of Jean's death... It was 20 years ago that a legend left us. What a talent... Thank you for posting.

  • Fast paced and funny!!!

    Thank You!!!

  • FANTASTIC - thanks for posting the entire picture, and in such a fine transfer, too! With the writing of Sturges and actors such as Arnold, Arthur, Milland - and several who would later become part of Sturges' stable of actors, this is a real gem (Leisen's directing is none too shabby, either). We will not see their likes again - except on the silver screen.

  • Brilliant!!!

  • "Oh go soak your head in a bucket!" LOL

  • "Come on Snoopy!" Lol

  • Wow! Great movie! It was very funny and I think Jean Arthur did a magnificent acting job. It was so funny to see her so bewildered that everyone wanted to give her things. Typical of old films, this is another great one. Thanks for posting.

  • Cute!....

  • although I like Ray Milland,I do think this would have been even better with J.S.

  • Such delicious fun. So many thanks for posting. Edward Arnold is an absolute pleasure to watch with the great Jean Arthur.

  • "I've got a job, and so have you"

    "What is it?"

    "Cooking my breakfast"

Yeesh, those're some unfortunate implications, great movie though, thanks for posting.

  • @gnosblax Yes, but in 1937 every woman aspired to cook breakfast for a rich man. Come to think of it, not much has changed.

  • Thanks nice movie!!!!!!!!!!

  • Definitely,a delightful gem of a movie! Jean Arthur is wonderful.
