Very nice piloting! Probably not great idea with a PA-28 the nose wheel might cause a slight snafu, but if you try it in a Cherokee at least take a video and post it! (you'll want it for the insurance adjuster too)
They're called "Tundra Wheels" and they're used for flying into unprepared fields. They're big, so they distribute the weight of the plane better on soft terrain and don't dig in like small tires. BTW, WILD video! Now THAT'S flying.
beautiful countryside...do you need your float endorsement to do that? Kinda makes me want to get out of the class C areas a bit more often. the flying club would have a shit if I ever did that in one of our 172's
