  • Are those special flotation wheels for landing in mud?

  • @handiest1 tundra tires designed to keep the prop and struts as far off the ground as possible while maintaning a resonable level of stability while landing

  • Excelent, thank you for the video!!

  • Nice job; both flying and movie-making. Whoever tried touching that water first must have had heart palpitations!

  • Nicely filmed and flown. BOTH pilots showing their skills!

  • i was messing around relaxs man it just said big foot up there i was just messing around

  • That pilot is bad ass!

  • Nice video and a very good pilot. A Cub is the perfect plane to do this. ;-)

  • Man, low and slow is truly the best flying...

  • I guess with wheels that big, you could do a take off roll from land to water surface. Ha ah

  • Talk about stol

  • Sehr empfehlenswert und wunderschön anzusehen.

  • Wow, what a scenery!!! Awesome flying...

  • that's just beautiful...

  • Very nice piloting! Probably not great idea with a PA-28 the nose wheel might cause a slight snafu, but if you try it in a Cherokee at least take a video and post it! (you'll want it for the insurance adjuster too)

  • Great, nice guitar player too. Is this a Husky or a Cub? Looks like a Husky fom me...Comgrats.

  • It's a Cub, says so at the end of the video. Superb aeroplane.

  • This is good. I'm trying this on my next trip in the old PA28; - ...maybe not.

  • What sort of wheels are those thats crazy but cool.

  • They're called "Tundra Wheels" and they're used for flying into unprepared fields. They're big, so they distribute the weight of the plane better on soft terrain and don't dig in like small tires. BTW, WILD video! Now THAT'S flying.

  • beautiful countryside...do you need your float endorsement to do that? Kinda makes me want to get out of the class C areas a bit more often. the flying club would have a shit if I ever did that in one of our 172's
