Very nice video, I've always been interested in Sess and Rin's relationship. I think he's protective over her like a daughter. You can tell in the episode "Jaken's plan to Steal Tetsaiga" (can't remember how to spell it) At the beginning he tells her to fend for herself since she's hungry, like he's teaching her how to look out for herself. He keeps discipline over her. You can also see his authority figure feelings towards Inuyasha as well.
Rin is the most important tnink for Sesshoumaru. We can see this in the manga, too, SPOILER... when Sesshoumaru preferts to save Rin than Tenseiga. Sesshoumaru´s mother says: "he´s like his father" becouse he´s thinking in a human girl.

The manga does indeed make it absolutely blatent that he cares for Kagura. However, the fact he protects Inuyasha's entire group (Bakusaiga arc), then Kagome (final battle) and spares Sango's life (end of the manga), proves his compassionate heart encompasses far more than simply Rin.
Rin opened the door, yes. It's just that a lot of fans seem to think that because she was the first, Sesshoumaru's incapable of feeling anything positive for anyone else. I think that's a disservice to the effect Rin had him, and the manga reveals differently anyway.
Nebula, honey, thats cool and all..but it all startet with the little girl, Rin, he did MORE than protect her, Sesshomaru brought her back to life...twice, to my knowledge♥
let us not forget, Rin is human♥ Sesshomaru cares about a human, ya follow? l personally could overlook Kagura because she is a demon like Sesshomaru himself *sigh* Kagura IS pretty "cute" if you wanna talk about beauty.. but yeah XD
Kagura's youkai nature isn't important. She was the first person Sesshoumaru went out of his way to try and save with Tenseiga - but Tenseiga couldn't save her, and the impact on his heart is so significant, it's explored later on when Toutousai observes that his anger and sorrow over Kagura's death filled an empty piece of his heart. Sesshoumaru's travelled a long, amazing road in this manga. Rin was one significant piece of the journey, but not the only significant piece.
alright, well, that's all fine and dandy- I try to stay away from reading the maga version of inuyasha for that very reason, I already can't stannd Inuyasha, but that's a different story - I don't need a reason to feel the same about Sesshomaru, he's the best character♥

Very nice video, I've always been interested in Sess and Rin's relationship. I think he's protective over her like a daughter. You can tell in the episode "Jaken's plan to Steal Tetsaiga" (can't remember how to spell it) At the beginning he tells her to fend for herself since she's hungry, like he's teaching her how to look out for herself. He keeps discipline over her. You can also see his authority figure feelings towards Inuyasha as well.

Rin is the most important tnink for Sesshoumaru. We can see this in the manga, too, SPOILER... when Sesshoumaru preferts to save Rin than Tenseiga. Sesshoumaru´s mother says: "he´s like his father" becouse he´s thinking in a human girl.

Beautiful video! I love Sesshomaru and Rin. I think they have a father/daughter relationship right now but I honestly believe that will change when she gets older. I mean she's prolly the only female he has actually cared about. I dont think he's just gonna let her walk out of life and settle down with someone else. Thanks for posting Vid! :D

The manga does indeed make it absolutely blatent that he cares for Kagura. However, the fact he protects Inuyasha's entire group (Bakusaiga arc), then Kagome (final battle) and spares Sango's life (end of the manga), proves his compassionate heart encompasses far more than simply Rin.

Rin opened the door, yes. It's just that a lot of fans seem to think that because she was the first, Sesshoumaru's incapable of feeling anything positive for anyone else. I think that's a disservice to the effect Rin had him, and the manga reveals differently anyway.

Kagura's youkai nature isn't important. She was the first person Sesshoumaru went out of his way to try and save with Tenseiga - but Tenseiga couldn't save her, and the impact on his heart is so significant, it's explored later on when Toutousai observes that his anger and sorrow over Kagura's death filled an empty piece of his heart. Sesshoumaru's travelled a long, amazing road in this manga. Rin was one significant piece of the journey, but not the only significant piece.

alright, well, that's all fine and dandy- I try to stay away from reading the maga version of inuyasha for that very reason, I already can't stannd Inuyasha, but that's a different story - I don't need a reason to feel the same about Sesshomaru, he's the best character♥
