We should stop listening to the liberal lies about energy. They just want us to buy lots of solar panels and wind power and conserve. But when you conserve something, it hurts the economy. The more we use the more we spend. The more we spend the more jobs are created. You are fighting the laws of nature and reproduction when you talk about conservation, environmentalism, abortion, population control and homosexuality.
who the hell cares what happens? Honestly. Any conception of the problem of climate change should completely overwhelm your teeny, tiny, concerns about being marginally inconvenienced during cloudy days. It's small minded to take such a complaint seriously
I disagree. We can't rely on energy that wouldn't provide what we need. I'm pretty sure solar power, will do that, but it was a good question to ask. Of course, it will take a lot of various things to help, not just solar panel. But we should look into the various downsides of solar panels, objectively and determine if it is a good idea, which I believe it is.
I'm assuming they have some sort of battery, so they can store the power the solar panels create. That way, when its cloudy, or night time, they can use the power from the batteries. The overall power from the solar panels, including days when the sun is not so great, is probably as much as the power they consume, so they would be okay.
One of the coolest things about solar power is that it can be produced even on cloudy days. Germany is the world's leader in solar energy and has about 200 cloudy days a year!
