  • Is this a game made exclusively for autistic people?

  • @rep757npay duh. why else would they make it?

  • they are not freaking out because you switched stages, its because yours engines burn the stage that fell, thus causing them to freak out

if you switch correctly they will not feak out :D

  • @722890 Even jebediah freaked out, that's how you know you fucked up

  • @EpicFishFingers Version 0.7.3.

  • Monkeybrains download it from one of the mirrors

  • when i download it and open it in winrar it says it cant read it or its corrupted or something please tell me how to solve this...thank you

  • @monkeybrains911 if your problem still isn't resolved, just keep trying, they had an issue with the download or something.

  • @RoboVT102 *Facepalm*

    It's FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

  • Is this the full version and did u get it pre ordered?

  • cool

  • The middle of the three Kerbalnauts always seems so calm while the other two are freaking out. He's a badass, that's why.

  • @DrChalkwithering Jebediah kerman ftw, lol

  • They freaked out because you blew up the stage you were separating. It's pretty much the one thing that will freak Jeb out: Explosions.

  • how can i detache peaces of the space shutle? i dont get it how to do it ;(

  • @LPBESSTBAND95 It's called Decouplers for a reason.

  • @LPBESSTBAND95 When you design your rocket you use things called decouplers. The game makes you play a tutorial and explains all this; did you skip the tutorial? If so, I suggest running through it. There's a decoupler called a radial decoupler that ejects pieces off the side of the rocket.

  • @klimzo Oh definitely!

  • is this free?

  • @klimzo yes

  • nice very cool

  • This needs to be multiplayer.

  • but that guy in the middle seems to have the most fun, doesn't take things too seriously :))

  • @omnisphera

I've seen him grinning like a happy fool as the engine explodes and the parachute gets ripped off while it's spinning out of control.

I think he's on drugs or something xD

  • it's alot more fun and challenging to try to get orbit in this game...anyone can built a rocket when they have infinite parts and they work 100% of the time

  • no space begins at about 500 km :p

  • How did you make the rocket?

  • 7:00 i see parachute on the right and i see ON the command center

  • bob stops panicing at 1:35

  • its not Earth , its Kerbia

  • @mixinghoney do you think that if the pod floated to a nearby island they would find a genie?

  • @sethwazhere wth

  • @mixinghoney i watch to much tv. thats wth.

  • @mixinghoney Kerth Actually

  • @1OneChosen2 yea, i knew i typed wrong

  • LOLOLOLOLOL

  • Nasa's gon be p.o.ed

  • ive gotten to 900000 meters before, have you?

  • @JPAchilles That's nothing, with the proper rocket you can get to 3000 km.

  • @anonimystro12345 i know that. but i cant do that without mods, because i suck at areadynamics :/

  • @JPAchilles The trick is to use solid fuel boosters for the initial launch and then use liquid fuel rockets for the rest of the trip, but not with just one fuel tank for each rocket, the best result is 3 fuel tanks.

  • @JPAchilles

    iv gotten 6100+ kilometers so?

point of this game isnt about getting more high.

  • @ClipMaster93 lolz, i beat that record. its now to the point where the game crashes (suposedly 999KM)

  • @JPAchilles

    lolz its not 999km

  • why is stage 4 fuel not going down? or showing up for that matter?

  • THIS A DEMO??????????/Where the real game link is then????

  • @X45652 video description

  • @X45652 Not out yet XD this is an alpha/beta stage game. The full game will be released later, when they finish making it.

  • @Dachiakia1 ok thanks ^_^

  • this game has sooo much potential.

  • Why is it, the one of the far right is constantly terrified, the one on the far left sort of wavers between scared and excited. And the one in the middle is smiling constantly as if he's off his tits on Valium?

He even smiles when he's bombing it straight for the planet with no hope of surviving...

  • @DavidWCourtney , how do you get that thing to be so stable! i try and keep mine stable and every time it just spins out of control. also, i am new to this game and need tips for building a rocket that will do good in terms of height and recovery.

  • i went over 1 km

  • Wow, i made it to 40,000K meters. Took me 13 hours.

  • Uhmm yeah. I made it out of orbit going 3000M/S by the time my engines ran out of fuel. I was 700000m [I think] high. I then went to bed.. It is now 10 hours in, and I am 46700K off of the crust.. My ship isn't decelerating at all... Did I just win?

  • Автор молодец, хорошо взлетел, + тебе

  • how i activate the parachute?

  • Is there a moon?

  • i cant get past 25,000meters and i go like 400meters/sec it realy sucsk once i hit good altitude my engines ethir overheat or run out of fuel and i come tumbling down to the planet and my crew always dies cuz idk how to use the paracheut

  • /watch?v=biVF0PNJn2s

    1000k meters, or one million.

    :)

  • @DavidWCourtney What is the highest height you've achieved in this game? I got to a little over 200 km in a simple, rather more realistic design than most of the monsters people post

  • @sgttaco1 I honestly don't know what my altitude record is thus far. Achieving orbit has more to do with horizontal velocity than it does altitude. Once you are above ~150 kilometers, you have all the altitude you need to achieve a stable orbit. Any additional altitude is "wasted" (in a sense). So my goal has been to achieve the 7500 meters/second necessary to achieve orbit. So far, I've only made it to about 2,000 meters/second.

  • @DavidWCourtney :O Wow! I can't even get over 1,700 m/s in my best rocket...I've achieved a short LEO with it as well...

  • @DavidWCourtney I got up to 714960 m - and STILL came back down! hahahaha

  • @smh3w The attractive force between two objects (a.k.a. gravity) goes on to infinity. So in a theoretical Universe that contained no other massive objects, you could travel away from the Earth by trillions and trillions of kilometers and still be "pulled" back.

In the real Universe, when you go beyond the Earth's gravitational SOI (Sphere of Influence), you enter the Sun's gravitational SOI. The Hill sphere of Earth is about 1.5Gm (1,500,000 kilometers)

  • @smh3w I hit 15,000,000m with 2500kps and my speed stopped decreasing appreciably. I think it would have continued near indefinitely.

  • @DavidWCourtney

I don't think orbit is possible, I got a ship up to 55,000 M and pointed my ship at the horizon, then my last stage got me to about 4000m/s in the direction of the horizon(I was aiming for 8km/s like earth orbit), I was falling slowly at the time, but 4000M/s was enough to break me out of the gravitational pull of the planet, It's now 220,000 KM from the planet traveling at 2929.8 M/s after 21 hours, even 4000M/s is WAY to fast for orbit around this planet.

  • @Germanswisscheese ~7500m/s is the correct velocity for Low Earth Orbit. But remember the further you are away from the central mass, the less influence its gravity has on your vessel. So the correct velocity for orbit at a geostationary position is less than the velocity that is needed for LEO. At a geostationary position, the correct velocity is ~6900/ms. At 220,000KM, you are still well within Earth's SOI. I think you will fall back to Earth eventually. Space is big, so it may take a while.

  • @DavidWCourtney Currently 4 hours into a 50km orbit at 2328 m/s and holding strong. 7500m/s would be well over the escape velocity and shoot you out into space, so I don't know where you got that number from.

  • @clgrnt Google "escape velocity" and "low earth orbit"

  • @DavidWCourtney You and your big fancy words! :(

  • @DavidWCourtney Planet Kearth is smaller and has different orbital figures than Earth. His numbers are correct.

  • @Germanswisscheese

Orbit is possible, but you have to time it really carefully. I got the capsule to orbit the planet three times before I reset, since I didn't have any way of breaking orbit lol. Also keep in mind that this planet may not be identical to earth, so it's gravitational effects may be slightly different.

  • My record was about 920000km and 2100 m/s.

  • Also to help keep the craft stable there is a button in the top left corner in the build stage that allows for symetrical contstruction.

  • I've gottenabit over 2000 kilometers. Gravity still functions though. I started to drop back to earth after about 47 minutes. Then i just quit out of boredom. I only used 3 fuel tanks and a liquid booster.

  • Whenever I try to use a Liquid Engine on my bottom stack, I have to put a decoupler underneath it or it will just get stuck in the ground. Do you experience this problem?

  • @sickel101 Before you press the space bar to launch, make sure you press the shift key to throttle the liquid engine to max.

  • Haha awesome game. Seems down now though? :-(

  • how did you can keep it straight the whole time? mine just keep rotating and exploding forever

  • @AlejandroTecman Start with the the most basic design and work your way up. Start with nothing more than a solid rocket booster. If you are experiencing a lot of wobble and rotation, it is because your rocket design is unbalanced.

  • @DavidWCourtney

Ive seen people have more parts for this! Can you tell me how to get em if you know?

    Please post back! :)

  • 7:39 YOU SUCK!!! i wanna see SPLOSIONS!!!!! Y U NO PROVIDE SPLOSIONS!!!

thats what this god damned game is made for!!!

  • nice screensaver. where is the game?

  • @SheepFreak2 You actually control the ship, correcting its' direction, and you have to manually start the different stages of the rocket. And you have to make the rockets from scratch

  • What recording software did you use?

  • @MSchelkopf do a google search for fraps

  • JJ5x5...that is all lol

  • JEBEDIAH: yay were going to die

  • why is jebediah always smileing

  • go jebediah

  • can you actually reach orbit tho?

  • @SotaBoyOG of course, check out the FAQ article in the Kerbal Space Program Wiki

  • @SotaBoyOG

Ive tried, and the highest point ive gotten is 317,000 m. Even at this altitude, I fell back to earth.

I got there by going straight up (no angle whatsoever), so I figured I didnt have enough horizontal speed built up to be in orbit. So I relaunched and tried angling my rocket after awhile, and as a result I did orbit about 3/4 of the planet, but ultimately still fell back to earth. So idk.

  • If you are completely still in orbit, does the planet spin?

  • @Scorch1494 You can't be 'still in orbit' relative to the planet, else you will begin to fall to the surface (which is of course contrary to the point of orbiting). You could try to fly as straight as possible away from the planet to see if it does rotate, but you likely won't be able to discern if it's rotating if you are orbiting (because at that point you cannot really tell if it is rotating because you're going around it or if it's spinning on its own).

  • @coreAtheist Yeah, after I posted the comment i learned that you cant just float in one spot above the planet xD

    Thanks :)

  • This is one of my favorite games. I like to see how many solid fuel boosters can go on before I lose control of the rocket.

  • I love this game. The best part is when one stage runs out of fuel and you're just entering space, so when you detach the previous section hangs behind you for a second before dropping.

  • how do you break the main pod from the rest of the ship?

I press space and nothing happens

  • @proviewpt Sounds like you didn't put a stack decoupler below the main pod

  • @DavidWCourtney Can you control the shuttle?

  • @EDGamesForums Yes you can, to a certain degree. You lose control the larger it gets, though.

  • @Nyanih Ive got to upload a vid I made a rocket that goes 200K up in space.

  • @EDGamesForums Good for you, I had to abort at 32000k, it was getting boring.

  • @DavidWCourtney

What does the Question Mark in the 2/3 stage? Iv coppied your ship well except I didnt have that and the results were intirely different!

  • They get freaked out by separations because you're catching the previous stage in the flame of your new booster. There doesn't seem to be a great deal that can be done about that.

  • The only time Bob isn't panicking is when he is on the ground.

  • @GovernmentAgentJym13 not a natural space type, eh?

  • @GovernmentAgentJym13 or when hes in the ground

  • @GovernmentAgentJym13

    LOL Acrophobia

  • Comment removed

  • @GovernmentAgentJym13 or dead XD

  • @GovernmentAgentJym13 if you are talking about all together, that isnt true. if you are talking about on this video, then yea, hes scared like crap.

  • @GovernmentAgentJym13 I blew some fuel boosters to bits and all of them were like :D

  • Is bob scared of heights?

  • i just downloaded this game and i know its in a alpha but its not working for me it just shows me a black screen and says loading '

  • XD

  • isnt this a free game?

  • @ptpetrov yeah its in like alpha stage or whatever.

  • @ptpetrov yes

  • nice
