  • u guys r awesome. well done. another soul saved.

  • Next time, point your guns directly at him the whole time. Its a lot easier to take a gun pointed at a head and turn it on an officer. The last person to have gotten shot by a Sheriff Deputy in my county held a gun to his head, pointed it at the officer, and luckily he had his gun up so he could shoot him instead of him being shot. Very nice video though! I wish my Post did training like this!

  • the idiot bastard traumatising that young son of his. it will stay with the young man forever. haunting him like a nightmare. again and again and again. Why do adults who are so fucked up always have to involve kids?

  • WTF!!

  • fucking video

  • who is your partner mr garrison out off south park 2;43 okayyy

  • and they say pot kills!!! fucking ignorant rednecks

  • dam i have been a explorer for a while and i dont think i could do that that good good job

  • I don't think this is real.....

The orange plugs in the barrels somehow give it away - amongst everything else.

  • @callmeshane303 Of course it's not real smart one. It's competition, something explorers do every now and then.

  • @cody111495

They should have clubbed him with a big rubber dildo.

  • @callmeshane303

No dip sherlock. EXPLORER, not OFFICER, or SWAT TEAM.

  • @RobloxMan6

The uniforms give me a hard on.... the plastic guns don't look very real though.

  • @callmeshane303 sry, my brother was on my account, I can tell it wasnt me from the proper capitalization and punctuation

  • lol if they tazed him with the kid in his arms then the kid would've felt it too.

  • Realistic training is always best.

  • Pretty good hostage situations are NEVER easy

  • Do you guys use (airsoft) HFC Glock 17s? For Placer County explorers we use ASP redguns. lucky.

  • @Chaikovskyrules Airsoft Glock Replicas.

  • @ExplorerPost1255 is that true gun using by the crook?

  • uh why is he smiling? it needs to be a realistic enviornment! and if we were in this situation it would be a crying screaming envirornment for us.

  • @xbeast133 The training we do is extremely realistic and focuses on realism. Sometimes we can't control the exact emotions of our actors and we only have a limited time to train, so we make do with what we have.

  • @ExplorerPost1255 Yeah I understand. Ive done a few more hostage senarios (spelling?) after posting that comment and I can say that I um...Failed due to laughter? Haha

  • If these are the police officers of the future I feel VERY SAFE!!

  • Is this a competition or training? Your guys are quick on their feet. Good job!

  • wow that was the best i have seen even in my own post

  • ya but the goal is to get out of the situation with no one harmed

  • Exactly!

Officers are accountable for every bullet that comes out of their gun. Good or Bad.

  • @ExplorerPost1255 That is true. That is why this situation calls for a patrol rifle. A handgun is a less than ideal (but far more likely) choice.

  • @bravecountry1 Sort of.......there is a hiearchy of important of priorities of safety....

    By-standers

    Victims

    Officers

    Suspects (dead-last)

If harm can be prevented to all involve, that is good. If the life of a suspect must be lost for the safety of those of greater importance, so be it.

  • I would have came into the room gun blazing.

    shoot him in the head.

  • What if, right as you pulled the trigger, he moved the kid in front of him. You kill the child, Worth it?

  • ....

then i guess I would have to take both of them down.

  • @ExplorerPost1255 It's a good question......there are a lot of what ifs in scenarios such as this. What if he just decides to shoot the hostage.

There is no one size fits all solution to the problem, but one must keep in mind that there are times for caution........and other times when the only tenable solution is speed, surprise and violence of action.

  • @ExplorerPost1255 probably not no! haha you need to be smooth about it talk to him smooth convince him that its all ok that your not going to hurt him.

  • i am going to be anexplorer this june at post 951 i just wanted to no if all post give the opportunity to earn commendaation bars?

  • Wow, you guys sound like real cops.

  • Hey seriously you guys didn't do a good entrance. not to offende you but you guys are not going to be good explorers or officers another thing you do know that by wearing a ring when in uniform is disrespectful to you post and uniform

  • Explain yourself. And please explain how your knowledge is superior then the veteran police officers that train the explorers.

  • we are train by a chief of police and we train the modern tactics if we were to go into a hostage negotiation first its officer safety so in hostage to beggin with your not soppose to go into with a weapon hosted, and your aways need to find his weekness im saying this cause not to show off but we go to competitions and we always bring 1st place over all the cities so we kinda kick ass if you know what i mean.....

  • Actually this was a CIT (Crisis Intervention Training) situation. The object was to deal with a consumer. The call was dispatched as a disturbance. The officers took proper cover and drew their weapons as needed. Not wearing a ring in uniform?

  • that is so not trainning

  • How is this NOT training?

  • is that a real gun this guy is pointing at his kid or what ?

  • Absolutely NOT. It is very important to make training as real as possible, but not at the cost of safety. All weapons are fake and no REAL weapons are allowed on the property during training.

  • just a question when you went to deploy a taser, wouldn't you have also tased the kid, the electrical current would run through the guy into the kid would it not?

  • When using a taser, as long as both of the probes go into the guy there is no charge back to anyone but that guy.

  • Great Job. Wouldn't have handled it any other way. Again, Great Job. I do agree with qv76. When running code with an officer it always scares you whether or not some dumbass is gonna run a red light or better yet just pull out in front of you anyways.

  • just making sure... this is the law enforcement explorers thing? the youth organization? ive thought about joining a unit here... if they do half the stuff these guys do im sold

  • Yes, but it is no youth organization like the Cub Souts, what we do is serious business, etc. Even though we ride with an officer most of the time there is always the risk of getting involved with something life threating, but that's the risk you take, when you are rolling code 3 you have that shiver go down your spin! :D

  • Here in Vegas we have something like that but I chose to go with the firefighting and we work with the police explorers alot, it's always fun when they drag someone out and we get to strap em down.

  • nicely done

  • You handled this great.

  • very well done!
