@Harutmakina because its power to weight ratio is much better then almost any other car. A GSX-R has 192 hp and weighs 379 lb or a little more then 2 average people! A lotus elise has roughly the same power but weighs 1,987 lbs! Simply put, a GSX-R has 0.5 hp/lb, a bugatti veyron SS(King Of Supercars) has a 0.28hp/lb! Thats nearly double to power to weight ratio, bikes are also a lot smaller and have a smaller drag coefficent... Trust me I LOVE cars but in a drag race, cars cant touch bikes

@danman2001 I dont know what you mean by that 'l' but if you mean an acceleration from 0-100 kph then 959 is not that quick by far. God, we are speaking about mid-80s car, according to the statistics it does 0-100kph in 3.7 secs but in real life it will probably be more than four seconds.

When it comes to the 24 hour races like LeMans, Sebring, Daytona etc, no other manufacturer is anywhere close to Porsche. Porsche has more than double the wins of Ferrari at every one of those races. Endurance tests how good a car really is and Porsche make the most durable, best performing race cars period. Ferrari only dominates F1 because Porsche doesn't even really build F1 cars.

There were 3 GT1 variants: The one in this video which is the 1996 car, the 1997 GT1 Evolution (Evo) which had a wider look with the newer 996 style headlights, and then the gorgeous 1998 GT1 98 which was a completely new car and much more of a prototype than a GT car. The GT1 98 was the car in the game you mention, there were a couple road versions made but I doubt they were ever really driven anywhere. The '98 car also won Le Mans despite getting whipped in the FIA GT series by the CLK LM.
