  • Do you even need to debunk conservapedia?

Everyone knows its just bull, even the people who support it.

  • -

Wassamatta, no voice of your own?

  • @AesopsRetreat Yes, exactly. Which explains my later videos...

  • My name is Michael which references an angel described as the right hand of God. My family name is Jaeger, the German term for hunter. I am neither a saint, an angel, or a person who hunts Saint Michael. My girlfriend's nickname is Shiki, but she has absolutely nothing to do with spoken languages in Nigeria.

  • I don't really see the point of this; you do not by any means need to debunk any Conservapedia articles. They're so hopelessly idiotic that they debunk themselves.

  • Conservapedia? Really? At least they are upfront and honest about their right wing bias.

All true newsreporting and encyclopedias however use NPOV. That is a neutral point of view. I can spot right wing bias very easily because I know all the right wing political stances. A newscaster, says he is pro-life without any objective analysis. That's right wing bias and doesn't belong in the news or encyclopedia.

Thus conservapedia is an afront to the very standards of encyclopedias.

  • Why I don't have permission to go back on conserviapedia? I visited it twice lol, the site works with a proxy however.

  • Workin' in a quote mine, goin' down-down-down...

  • Is there a single video directly supporting conservapedia as a factual website?

  • @crazyinsane500 creationwiki

  • eh ... meh

  • I can't wait until conservapedia finish the right wing Bible, it should be a hoot, as if Yahweh wasn't enough of a republican with all of his genocide, homophobia and misogyny. Maybe they will clarify what the Israelite men did with the female children they kept after annihilating the Mdianites and then we can call them conservapedophiles after the God they worship.

  • They moved the article to "Barack Hussein Obama".

  • i think conservapedia is more of a tabloid website

  • @victorscarlet The guy who creates it seems serious though.

Honestly, I've had enough of all this right-wing bias these days. Fox News, Talk Radio, Conservapedia. What next? Conservative tooth brushes and conservative coffee mugs. News should have a neutral point of view.

  • Yes, Poe's Law applies when dealing with Conservapedia.

  • An Obama Win: Senate Passes Financial Reform Bill, 59-39

David Lightman and Kevin G. Hall, McClatchy Newspapers: "The Senate passed by 59-39 the most sweeping changes in government regulation of the nation's financial institutions since the Great Depression, including strong new consumer and investor protections and seeking to shine a bright light on the dark corners of Wall Street."

  • Conservapedia is bad comedy.

  • I dont think its meant as comedy

  • I like what you're trying to do here, but the vid is unwatchable due to that speech engine...

  • Yes, I have thought about redoing all of them actually. All 3, with my regular voice.

  • About "renegade": a Spanish dictionary will not tell you the etymology of the word. Online Etymology Dictionary has renegade as renegade: '1583, "apostate," probably (with change of suffix) from Sp. renegado, originally "Christian turned Muslim," from M.L. renegatus, prop. pp. of renegare "deny" (see renege). General sense of "turncoat" is from 1665. The form renegate, directly from M.L., is attested in Eng. from c.1375.'

    Not that it matters.

  • As for "mulado", it has nothing to do with religion but rather ethnicity, specifically a mix between the native white and foreign Moorish populations. The word originally refers to mules, which are (sterile) mixes of donkeys and horses.

  • lol i love it, "allegedly born"

  • The last claim by conservapedia is false and out-of-date. He attended one not too long ago.

  • conservapedia is undoubtedly the funniest hate site on the web.

the first time i read it i thought it was liberals making fun of what conservatives believe, that's how insane it is.

  • Hi,

actually the Communists are one of the major parties in Berlins parliament (its a separate "Bundesland" or state). In Europe there is generally much less of this witch hunt mentality against socialism and communism than in the United States.

  • du hast recht

  • Hey, I got 2 questions to strong conservator:

1st: What the fuck is that licences? This encyclopedia is under a licences... Witch is really weird.

2nd: Who is Jeremiah Wright? And, don't tell my you don't know, you know what I mean. Or it's a conspiration, or is fallacy. And betweens the two, the second is much easy to do and to convers under the first. Now lets check down this article: "Obama and his wife (raised a Baptist) were members of the Trinity United Church of Christ[161]". So :D

  • huh?

  • I talk to the conservator that use this web site: I think the licence of conservapedia is biased.

The only important question is " Who is Jeremiah Wright?". He is a former Pastor of the Trinity United Church of Christ. A church that Obama went. This is know, CBC and Fox news have talk about "a more perfect union". Be the fact that he goes to a Christian church, Obama is not Muslim.

And in what does it mather... We want a president that do the job well.

  • they are indeed biased

  • @atomicnumber86 Every encyclopedia use a legal license letting the right to quoting them but not copying them (meaning they are reference work). In the case of conservapedia it "is revocable only in very rare instances of self-defense, such as protecting continued use by Conservapedia editors or other licensees or stopping unauthorized copying or mirroring of entire parts of this site" : this mean it should not be use as a reference because of legal purpose (you could get sue for an homework).

  • @therrydicule I am not using the entire site. I am taking small parts and is correcting them, which is legal.

  • @atomicnumber86 I do not say that what you do is illegal, I am saying that what conservapedia do is cheesy.

Let say some idiots decide to do shit to you, saying "we ask a revocation of this unauthorized used"... You could legally sue them by saying "it is not illegal, it is a reference work and therefor made to be used as a reference". Saying that the text is granted but revocable, for any reasons, when we talking about an encyclopedia is absurd, legally speaking.

  • @therrydicule Yeah, it is indeed cheesy, but what did you expect? :P

  • @atomicnumber86 That they were another encyclopedia, legally speaking... A shity one, but a bit like any other ones...But they are not even close an encyclopedia with a licence like that. In fact, they have there head up their... I mean, even unencyclopedia have a better licenses (and, probably, better information). I am not talking about encyclopedia Britannica and stuff like then been present forever, I am talking about the worsts one's...

  • Absolutely awesome!

  • thanks..
