  • I think this the second time a comment on this song it just inspiering every time i hear it

  • beiBeing a younger (ish) person i never heard of cat Stevens but did hear his old songs not knowing who the artist was, then i saw the porchester hall show a few years back on the bbc and since then i have been hooked on his music and his voice. An other cup was superb. Top bloke! His voice has mellowed over the years

  • assalamualaikum, yusof got a powerful song. Why ? Because the strong emotion has in that song. I am Malay. My citizenship is malaysia. I bought the album, my son love it. They learned english... they keep on singing your song. they score english language subject at school. Thank you yusof.

  • I saw him play this one live in stockholm yesterday probaly one of the most beautiful fusions i've heard i think the whole audience suddenly stood still and smiled.

  • drawing inspired by this song - see "mystic oceans" in the gallery at kelefeh(dot)deviantart(dot)com

  • Oh I´m on my way I know I am, Somewhere not so far from here, all I know is all I feel right now, I feel the power growing in my hair ... the road to find out ... Be what you must

    Paz, Salam, Peace, Namaste

  • he s a living legend.

  • love him just hes a legend

  • Oh, this is the most beautiful song ever!

  • god i love this song

  • of course when you think of Yusuf/Cat Stevens you think of the fact that Yusuf can never top his former self...

That isn't so just listen to Roadsinger album an than you realize he already topped his former self. Only There is now way to see it because people stopped believing in real music an began believing in disgusting figures like lady gaga.

If Yusuf was an other person who lived in the 70's an brought out Roadsinger,

he would have toppen albums like teaser and the Firecat.

  • Indeed...loving how this seems to be the continuation/finale of Sitting in many ways...it lyrically follws so nicely (and musically as well) :D

  • Sampling his own songs....nice.

  • I believe there's a bit of Peace Train at the end of Boots and Sand, too. Gotta love it.

  • subhaanallah..makin tua makin jadi...mantaps! dah 2 thumbs up!!!!

    salam for u Sir Yusuf...

  • very nice.

  • Love this song....Roadsinger is awesome and I was a Cat Steven's fan forever and so happy he has come back with more music

    Yusuf!

  • Ah, new version of sitting, cool man....

  • Still the best Cat Stevens!

  • Br. Matthew, I forgot to say Thank you for uploading this song. Peace and Assalamualaikum.

  • shalom

  • His old song was "Sitting" not "Still" sorry for the typo

  • :-). That's Ok.

  • Love this song, the opening almost like his old song "Still", I think this will be a hit soon or at least in the top 10.

  • "Sitting"

  • Sisteryoutube the beginning is Sitting from Catch Bull at four

  • Is this from "Moonshadows"?

  • no this is a new album called Roadsinger

  • Awesome song! I've ordered but haven't received yet. Very nice song in the end...Thanks Yusuf!

  • Thank God...he is back....finally..

  • Thank God is the exact terms for Cat/Yusuf actually.

  • sweet song

  • This album is Cat Stevens' greatest piece of work.

There, I said it. I definitely think so.

  • love it thank you so much, Cat yusuf is back!!!the living legend

  • yusuf is absoleuty brilliant. I love him, he is partly the reason why i love guitar playing. and frankly playing guitar at all.

  • Thank you so much.....sitting is one of my favourites.....and JUST LOVE THIS.....heard clips of it and wanted to listen to the rest of it. Thanks! Yusuf rocks! Peace.

  • You're welcome, and thank you. I love 'sitting' as well. It was on the greatest hits cd that got me into Cat Stevens. I think the children's choir really gives a "70's" vibe to it, like something I could expect from Tea for the Tillerman.

  • Yeah your totally right. It's kinda nostalgic from the track tea for tillerman, where the line 'happy day' is blasted to high volume, with a choir of people joining in. Quite happy with the views. Any plans to post anymore songs from this album? PEACE.

  • Lol. I love that part of the song. It's so much louder than the rest, but it doesn't sound like a bad mixing job. I might upload some more songs, but I'm unsure. I want people to buy the album, and about half of it is already on YouTube between my three uploads and the two music videos released as singles (Thinking 'Bout You, and Roadsinger)

  • wow

  • omg i'm jalous i can't buy cd's in the store's they don't got and they don't order :'(

  • Yes....'All I know is what I feel Right now.' Love that song. So True! Perfect Beginning. I got the Cd yesterday. An Amazing and Beautiful Gift....Graced by The Sweet Lord! :)

  • Absolutely Beautiful....:)

  • Indeed. Did you notice the intro was taken from "Sitting" of Catch Bull at Four?

  • kinda
