Ah, yes, him and I read the book. Utter fabrication: will the real 'survivors' please stand up? We don't hear from Germans, Poles (unless jews) or anyone else 'liberated' from the camps, do we? I doubt we have heard one authentic account of what actually happened in these places and more intriguingly, what happened when the communists raided them and what picture was presented to the Western press?

Also I would like to add Dr Frankl was appointed the task of mentoring University Students in an American University where they were concerned about the amount of suicides After Dr Frankl took over not one student suicide occurred. When you make accusations like that be prepared to come out and publicly declare yourself and your informants as to just who they are and who are you? What are your credentials?What are their's? Frankl does not hide behind anyone he is right up front. If he was in a concentration camp for three years or three days he certainly learnt from it and observing others as a psychiatrist He did los e his wife and his daughter.Pain enough for anyone I think.You are sic.

From the start he decided to just tell the truth so if he were asked a question, he told the truthful answer but gave no extra information. For example, if asked his occupation, he simply said psychiatrist and nothing more. He did not have to lie to survive.

@battlestroke7 There are survivors of the Holocaust & all sorts of other types of places like that ex. POWs, genocide in other countries, gulags, even plane crashes, etc so yes it is possible to survive although obviously most don`t. I have no reason to doubt his story but if it is all lies, his book is still very good, encouraging, and well worth the read. I gained a lot from it which I plan on keeping.

@battlestroke7 BTW for ppl to claim to be his "close friends" but turn around & stab him in the back by telling a stranger their friend is a liar, really makes me question how "close" of a friend they really are. Any person that would say that about me, I would see as a enemy rather than a close friend. I`d have nothing to do with such people. In my opinion even a regular friend, not a close one, requires loyalty & no back stabbing to be considered a friend.

I know some people have less life experience than others ,so with that in mind I will tell you that a liar leaves in his wake a trail of people that once trusted him. It is the mode of a liar and it never changes. As for success ,he would not be the first or last liar to rise to his height much like a common turd. If his scam has helped you ,I am glad but the facts remain.As for me ,my friends still trust me after many years and that is a little of what i give the world.
