Yeah...the thumbs down...some people are just idiots. But it's nice to know you're not one of 'em. I was halfway joking, but I do think it would take away from his character to make him romanceable, so I'm pretty confident BioWare didn't do that. Maybe he's not complelely heartless, but simply going by his assassination/personality in this scene, he's much too badass to be the lovey dovey sort.....which, funnily enough, is WHY the girls wanna romance him. .........girls. Ridiculous.
I don't know about that. Hard to figure out. I think you can make him romanceable in some manner. Also m/m romances are confirmed. Some polish voice actors said something too much and now we also know some of SuZe's combat dialog. Including: "your turian friend is down!"
Dam, Mass Effect 2 looks great both visually and technically! Honestly, the characters look way better and are actually alive this time around. (they aren't dull and have emotions)
BTW On the offical forums Bioware confirmed that the Quarian who was in the earlier trailer was Tali, and since she next to Shepard and Jacob in Miranda's place in that trailer odds are she's a party member. Good news... though I still wish Wrex was around.
I like the new camera shots they're taking in these conversations. It adds some variety that I've yet to see in conversations in Bioware games since they started voicing most dialogue.

Alas, Wrex is not a party member in ME2. He's been confirmed as having a "really cool cameo" if he's alive, though.
Devs have stated that players will like the new krogan (Grunt) just as much or maybe more than Wrex. Though Wrex fans are still bummed over the implication.
I love it, not only is there a badass character in the sequel but the graphics and lighting have been beefed up as well as noticeable cinematic camera angles during conversations. This is going to be epic. :)
What's up with Thane's gun? It disappears after he kills Nassana, then reappears when he puts it away. Anyway, Thane seems like my kind of character. Cunning, stealthy, and knows how to get the job done. Going to enjoy having him in my party.
It looks like he grabs Nassana's right wrist and bats her gun away with his left hand at 58 seconds. The pistol he fires is his own, in his right hand (same one he shot the asari bodyguard with.) After draping her Thane holsters the pistol back on his left hip as he walks around the table. It does sort of disappear for a second though!
He's still sexy as hell. Not doing him should be a crime. And my FemShep doesn't like breaking the law. Giggity giggity!

when i played the first mass effect ashley shot wrex i was very angry and left ashley to die despite hating kaiden. now that iv found out in the xbox magazine that if ur charecters died in the first one they dont come into the second!
so... just play back through a second time (or third, fouth, fifth, sixth, etc) and save over it... besides if you haven't gotten 2 lvl 60 on a character... your not done with mass effect...
By looking at this and from hearing that a mission can go bad. It seems that if you don't play your cards right, Thane might attempt to shoot you in this scenario. And this is where your squads loyalty comes in.
garrus has to be there cus like if u do all the tings paragren he is like ur best ferind and ur his rolemodle if ur good or bad and if ur good has signs up for specter trianing

being in the game doesn't mean that they'll be squad members. I was under the impression that it would be a new squad, with maybe Tali or Garrus left from the first game.
Shepard is supposed to be recruiting the most dangerous squad in the galaxy, so Wrex and Garrus would definitely apply.

ya but if u actualy played pargen u would konw at the end he talked about how to do thing right not just to do things and get it done and id u do the "fined dr.sleion"mission hehe will talk about how he had alot peduduce in him and is pushing that a way and he trains to be a specter and will fallow in ur example.

actually when your on feros and you get the chose to use the grenades and knock the colonist out or just kill them
if you tell your squad to just kill everyone in sight he gets upset about it...
so he isn't all bad.

being in the game doesn't mean that they'll be squad members. I was under the impression that it would be a new squad, with maybe Tali or Garrus left from the first game.
Shepard is supposed to be recruiting the most dangerous squad in the galaxy, so Wrex and Garrus would definitely apply.

I dont really like Garrus.
Its not that hes a bad person (like ashely) but he does not really stand out.
(hes like a calmer version of Judge Dread.
I prefer Wrex and Tali.
