  • Metric? Gotta be kidding. All threads are Whitworth. British standards. Not a metric thing about the car. Sorry, owned two, built one from the parts. Early Iron Age.

  • Actually MG and Morris engines from 1919 to 1952ish were built with metric threads. this was because Morris purchased machinery from a french factory. seems strange that you didn't know this as it can be a costly mistake when rebuilding these engines if you mix up the earlier metric with the later American National Fine that was introduced with the merger with Austin.
