to all those who complain about the pronunciation, excuse them for not being tamils ! and just enjoy the music - don't let ur filthy "language love" get in the way !
I see a lt of people commnting on the 'pronunciation' thing.I believe they r being 2 harsh..The guys wher presenting their own style of the song. I appreciate thm 4 their dedctn..could see them performing on various languags..
Whn singers like k kher, sonu nigam, udit naryn and many sing Tamil songs we enjoy those and say 'wah..wah..'..We dont microscopically judge the "pronunciation" but enjoy these great singer's style of singing and love & respect their songs
The beauty of a song equally rests in the music, the singers capability, and definintely in the lyrics written as well. When you are recreating, yes you can do it in ur style. But there is a limit to it. They have modified orchestration, but not changed the original tune of the song. They have modified the emotions portrayed, but not changed the feeling in it.
You cannot say Svathandhiram, for Sudanthiram. Thandhai naanalum (even if there is a father, is there a soothing feel than a mother's lap's warmth).. thaai madi pol sugam is wrong!! it changes the meaning. Thangal aanaalum thaai madi pol (Even if there is a miscarriage, there is nothing more soothing than a mothers warmth).
We all dont appreciate K Kher or Sonu Nigam. atleast they take close reference to lyrics. Dont change words fully.
with all due respect, the singer has a good voice. But a good singer is someone who takes the effort to get the lyrics through. The emotion related to this song is destitution/sorrow/dismay and NOT frustration. The way this song comes out from the singer sends the message of frustration. Good work with the musci however from this bunch of guys!
music is appreciated no matter wat language. But for this particular song, understanding of the lyrics are needed before acing the song. Nice performance tho.
depth of the song with respect to the situation is missing.could have been better wit apt pronounciations .anyways .good effort.!loved other works of JOB!
worst pronunciation.. when one can sing so nice, why can't he just take little xtra care to look at how the original has been pronounced? disappointing..

The irony of the whole part is this music was remixed and successfully done by Keralites. Good music.
