i have a 1990 k5 blazer with this problem--the low beams are dim and the high beams work fine---i would be very happy to be able to find the problem--i just dont see anything wrong--any help would be greatly appreciated---thanks Don
This video looks like my 4 headlight system on low-beam...there shouldn't be any electricity going to the hi-beams at all on this setting but there is. How do I possibly correct this bleeding of the low beam circuit into the hi-beams???
He sounds like BoB Ross, it's the Bob Ross of the automotive world. "A bad ground can be a beautiful thing, just let it happen and go with, what a wonderfull sight"
This is a good video but it would have been so much more helpful if you had actually SHOWED us where you were connecting the jumper to the lighting ground. Many of your viewers may already know most of this stuff, but a lot of us don't and seeing everything that you're doing is extremely helpful. Thanks anyway.
Thank you for your videos. They are really professional. Question: how do I improve the power (more light) in the low beems (low and high) I have a pick dodge 1975 and the lights are really poor at night. thanks again

@Xytos it's 12V DC ... You can Short the battery with your fingers and nothing will appen because your resistance is too high to let DC pass through you.
5 Return "Ground." completes the circuit. No ground = No circuit.
The first 4 items get all the attention. Battery charged? Power to switch? Power to consumer?
The Ground is often taken for granted. The Ground is not our only concern. We are concerned with the whole circuit. However, most people have checked the power side and rarely look at the Return.
Big three work?

Good job with the tip! If you try to tell it to our British friends, it called a bad "earth"

A circuit has 5 components.
1 Source of power.
2 Path for the electricity
3 Control The switch
4 Consumer Part that uses the electricity.
5 Return "Ground." completes the circuit. No ground = No circuit.
The first 4 items get all the attention. Battery charged? Power to switch? Power to consumer?

If a wire is bad, it should be replaced.
It should be noted that wires are rarely bad. Far and away, the biggest area of trouble is the ends of the wires and the connections.
A bad end can be replaced. A bad connection can be cleaned.
Wires tend to be problem-free unless they are pinched, crushed, or melted from an overload.
