I find you Turks spend a lot time denying the Armenian genocide while blaming the Armenians. How can you blame someone while denying the other? Some go as far as blaming the Young Turks, who were trying to separate Turkey from Islamic rule. The Islamic rulers were in fact killing off the Armenians for fear they would join the Young Turks cause. Yet not one of you want to blame the true cause of the genocide on Islam, the ones trying to prevent their own overthrow from power.

Which encyclopedia are quoting from? The Ottoman empire existed long before the Young Turks, and the Armenian genocide started before 1908. Even the wonderful world of Wiki points out the Mullahs of the Ottoman empire started the genocide.

TurkTurkey, Since Turkey denies the Armenian genocide, the issue has gone to outside pressure to insure Turkey faces the issue. If Turkey wants to join the EU, then Turkey is going to have to face the issue and answer to the victims. The concept of a jurisdictional resolve has long ago passed. Turkey has been denying this since 1918, outside influence to resolve this would only be considered reasonable given the servility and nature of the claims.
