Rise and fall of a dictator, that what expects every dictator no matter when and how,but examples of Gaddafi,Chaushesku,Mussolini,Saddam and the others shows that even they not immortal and almighty!
I bet the soldier holding up the US flag over the statue felt kind of dumb afterwards, because of the whole "we're liberating, not occupying" slogan that they were spreading across the region at that time.
It'd be more accurate to say that this was REstaged. A couple of days before this, some Iraqis in one of the smaller cities (can't remember which one offhand) enlisted the help of U.S. Marines to tear down another statue of Saddam. That occasion was genuine, but it didn't get too widely reported as most of the media was still fixated on the cr@p coming out of Comical Ali's mouth, so the U.S. decided to repeat it on a larger scale in Baghdad.
lol...this is staged event for propaganda purposes. They flew in the militia group of Ahmed Chalabi for this to make it seem like it's the whole of iraq that's cherishing this moment. It's basically a psyop. People need to wake up and smell this kind of bs already
I have seen a still photo of a soldiers salute to saddam where the americian soldier pisses on a painting that is painted in like a grotto or something out in the desert I wonder is there a VIDEO OF THIS ,,I have the photo but was there ever a video made of it,,
@pianoman1773 Just do some research man, there's plenty of academic text, documentary and alternative media sources which prove beyond reasonable doubt that this was a staged event. Whether you like it or not, your government invaded this country to gain access to their oil. Iraq was an easy target.
@peterlikesthis By the way! Weapons of mass destruction (lie). 'Operation Iraqi Freedom' = Invasion/Occupation. Justifying the war = Saddam is a dictator. There are plenty of dictators in the world, the only reason the U.S doesn't over throw them too is because a) no profit to be made b) too risky. But hey, Libya's up next.
Hijazna, I have watched many of your videos, and feel you have a developed view of Middle Eastern Issues, however, I believe you need to state how this event was stemmed off of American Propaganda in your description.
@TheDirtSanchezz And why's that? To show that these people really did support a brutal dictatorship and that America persuaded them to pretend they didn't?
@pianoman1773 No. To show how desperate the US was to cover up their original intentions of Iraq, that our country had to resort to modern propaganda to depict the whole invasion as if we were fighting "for the Iraqi people". As we all know now, that was not the case.
It's like here in Ecuador, this stupid country where I have to live for a year. Most of us don't like our "dear" president/dictator/ruler. Anyways, he's a fucking clown. You think all those people were happy when Sadam Hussein was ruling their country? As much as Ecuadorian hate our president. I believe they hated theirs as well. God Bless the US Troops. For risking their lives at hands of suicide-religiousfanatic-assholes.
it would have been alot wiser if the the americans had covered the statues face with the irag flag that would have shown that the americans had respect for them
what people don't realize is that the marines themselves actually gathered this crowd, and relied on the fact that this square is adjacent to where all the western news media folks were staying, to make this staged event look spontaneous.
@TheSittingArchitect I thought that too for awhile, but I just read an article in the New Yorker, and it turns out that it actually was an unstaged event! pretty remarkable if you ask me.
@TheSittingArchitect no it wasnt staged, I was there for the invasion, we were actually pretty worried about trying to go help them out, but we did anyways and this is what happended.
I can't find too many videos of Iraqis celebrating the fall of Baghdad and saying "Thank you Mr. Bush".
Gee, I wonder why? LOL!

It was Dark Star's idea. Look up his callsign for OEF.
He's a piece of shit. Terrible leader of the megalomaniacal variety.

I was there providing checkpoint security while Cowboy McCoy got it in his thick fucking skull to become a celebrity.
Colonel B.P. McCoy can suck my cock. By the way, the books he writes on his experiences over there are a complete fantasy.
