There's nothing wrong with newcastle! I was born at the RVI and have lived here eversince, and while I'd agree with anyone that Newcastle is well known for Chavs, with Byker and Howdon taking top stop, it's still not a 'shit hole' It offers loads, Eldon Square, Several Cinemas, An Ice rink, Bowling alleys, Pools, Museums such as the hancock, life and discovery, art galleries like the laing, the new multi-million pound library that's just opened in the city centre... Its honestly not a bad place.
