im going to assume youre talking about the 2003 National Championship. That was pass interference. They reviewed the call after the game and said it was legal. The game never should have gone to OT anyways. Rewatch the game and notice Chris Gamble was held CLEARLY(way more obviously than the OT PI)not to mention he caught the ball too for a 1st down. @getyoasshome Actually all the mediocre teams for Alabama came after the 1996 season in which we won 10 games. From 1997-2007 Alabama was a team that every few years would have a good team (I.E. 1999, 2002, and 2005) but for the most part Alabama would field crappy 4-8 and 6-5 teams.

bama was mediocre from 1995 to 2008 to be exact. they were on and off probation and had plenty 5 win seasons and only had 3 ten win seasons from 1995 to 2008 thats 13 years of mediocrity. bama had 5 straight seasons with 7 wins or less from 2003 to 2007 are you saying they have been good all the time? because they havent.

@getyoasshome Actually all the mediocre teams for Alabama came after the 1996 season in which we won 10 games. From 1997-2007 Alabama was a team that every few years would have a good team (I.E. 1999, 2002, and 2005) but for the most part Alabama would field crappy 4-8 and 6-5 teams.

well its easy to have loyal fans when you play in GAINESVILLE!!! last i checked the population of gainesville is about 120,000 so thats easy to get fan appreciation. its makes a lot of sense why miami doesnt sell out home games.....nobody is from there!!! people in miami could care less about the team. the enrollment is no where near UF. miami is basically a private school. as soon as big city teams hit a down slide the fans vanish...look at USC in the 90s.

yeah over the last 4 seasons but from 2000 to 2003 (4 seasons) miami was 46-4 and florida 36-15..so whats the point? ohhhhh miami isnt winning NOW and florida is?? thats a dumb argument, all teams go down eventually. only USC has had a run like miami had for the first 4 to 5 years of this decade. miami was good for 5 straight years, florida had a mediocre season in 2007. the difference between miami and UF this decade is 1 titles thats it. fan support had nothing to do with any of it either.
