I think God's working in strange ways. Someone at American Idol has to be on friendly terms with God to allow that. It's a good thing. God still gets glory, even if that wasn't the intention. :)
Right--They're making the song to be like the PEOPLE rise rather than GOD rising and that's even worse than not having christian music at all...and you only hear like "rise, rise, rise", nothing about God, so how would people know the song is about god...then again if they like it they could look it up and see... haha I don't know..
Ephesians 4:29 we should be lifting up Robbie Seay Band here. We do not know what can happen from this song being heard. Jesus doesn't need to be injected into the well part of society but in the area that needs healing. Where is your faith? Matthew 7:5 we should be asking what are we doing to spread the gospel? James 2:14-17. Let us be doers of the Word and not critics.

"which idol will rise?"
I don't see how this particular commercial gives glory to God.
The song has been taken out of context..it is a slap in the artist's face.
Just cause the mainstream is using "Christian music" doesn't necessarily imply a good thing.
