  • this is one of the best thin lizzy songs.up to the sky the rock gods took a great song writer, wish you were still here phill

  • ya, sexpistolsdiaz...U2 are the most disgusting excuse for Irish music ever. I HATE U2. Rory Gallagher and Thin Lizzy are the only true Irish Rockers. F to death U2 They are a disgrace to Irishmen worldwide.

  • just love it .

  • Best studio album ever made is Jailbreak for sure.

  • Better than sex better than real pure cocaine better than Kentucky Fried Chicken when you are wasted ~ Lizzy Lizzy Lizzy! Brilliant band.

  • @jhs5150, all it really sounds like he used is some good reverb with possibly a tube screamer, or the equivalent of.

  • Man, what is Gorham using as an effect on this guitar solo? The best way I can describe it is - it ZINGS! It almost sounds a little doubled and detuned but those effects weren't around in the 70's. Has kind of a bagpipes effect.

  • brian "drum roll" downey.

  • love you Phil !

  • Warriors has one of the greatest guitar riffs of all time.

  • What a great band!

  • great tune..

  • Frank Zappa once said all the good music was already written by people with wigs and stuff. Sorry Frank, but you didn't listen to Lizzy.

  • @funkster007 I am pretty sure Frank Zappa was well aware of Thin Lizzy.

  • great song, never given the creedance that other songs off this album were.

the first album I ever bought, and still one of the best, I ever bought, from here I never stopped listening to Lizzy

Thanks guys, I will never stop spreading the word

  • one of the best rock albums of all time. jailbreak is up there with the stones, the who or any album the made

  • Phattest solo ever, perchance?

  • Just a kid when Jailbreak was released, bought it and more or less wore it out, it was never off the turntable...awesome band, everything they did sounds just as good today :)

  • Brian Downey's sticks are on fire on this!

  • how could a song like this be written and performed without some genius involed?

  • Great lead guitar in this track :D

  • magic!

  • thin lizzy is cool ..

  • Incredible song thanks for uploading! I never took time to listen to it much until recently, but its such a song I (and I'm sure many others) can relate to. I especially love the '...and Romeo pulled away'.

  • This is possibly my favourite Lizzy song.....not sure.

The leadbreak is the most melodic thing I've ever heard. Scott is the man. RIP Phil.

  • its music like this that makes todays music look like a pile of garbage.

  • One of the cleanest, clearest guitar solos ever. Love this band, always brings back memories anytime I hear a Lizzy song. Love Scotts style and love reading what you all post, it seems as though we are an underground cult. You gotta crank the volume on this solo if you have nice equipment/speakers.

  • I saw Thin Lizzy when this album came out...The radio had been playing the boys are back in town. jailbreak, cowboy song, and emerald...our local d.j the legendary Joe Anthony R.I.P. (Sa., Tx ) strongly urged his listeners to go out and buy the album and learn the rest of the songs before they came to town in a few weeks..man, I'm so glad he did..I will never forget that show..I would look around me and see the whole crowd singing the words with the band..R.I.P. Phil Lynott

  • One of my favorites from them.

  • lovely song..

  • awsome ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
