Great job young man. Who is comparing you to Kevin Skinner? Skinner just doesn't cut it. He can't sustain a note and has a hard time starting and finishing on key. If he wasn't asked the magic question "what do you do back in Kentucky, he would have been off on the 1st night. Just goes to show you what being a "chicken catcher" can do for you...

Keep in mind Skinner was just singing another man's million $ song. I know how hard songwriting is. The most difficult task was already done for Skinner.

Mr. Brian Ellis created the chord progression, the tempo, the theme, the story line, the lyrics, and the melody needed for all great songs. After learning Brian Ellis pulled this great song in it's entirety. from his heart, I was persuaded without hesitation to change my vote to Mr. Brian Ellis.

Hate to say it Brian, but I don't know any Ellis' that can't sing. Another Ellis with 3 brothers and a sister from Alabama. My little brother has recorded some in Nashville. My father is an excellent tenor and all my brothers sing well. Hey, I really did enjoy your song, but I'd expect it from an Ellis! Good luck!

First, this has nothing to do with Kevin and I think it's a cheap trick to use him to get people to view your guy. His voice is good, but he doesn't have the personality that Kevin has. Keep pluggin' him. But keep Kevin out of it and make it fair.
