It dumped the night before and proved to be an amazing day! funny how at the begining of the day the place was packed but after lunch most of the families went home and we had the majority of the moutain to ourselves. KILLER DAY LOTS OF POWDER! and it snowed all day too!!! :D
Sorry that you don't think that the diamond & double diamond runs at Kirkwood aren't steep. It's always been tough filming helmet camera footage and showing the actual steepness.
i got to ride kirkwood last season on the best dump of the year... 4 feet at the peak and like 2 and a half at the bottum... what was even better was that all the people visting weren't used to that kinda powder so no one touched it all day...
This is just some of it.... we don't film all the time and when conditions are so amazing you barely want to stop. Kitkwood has to be one of the sickest places in the US for riding. Coming from the East Coast a horrible day at Kirkwood is like the best day for us in VT.
