(continued) For me though, that very fact makes me stand in even greater awe of him. Jesus did prison thanks to his tormentors. He was a simple joiner, one who did jail time. Even that couldn't stop him being the most perfect and decent person ever there was. I'm sorry, I know it's a bit of a long comment -but I think it's important to remember this stuff.
I agree that people should look up to God & Christ, and that men will fail at times. But don't forget, Jesus was also a man. He sinned when he dealt with the merchants in the Synagogue, had his moment of doubt on the Cross. He washed his disciples feet to humble himself. He never once called HIMSELF the Son of God. But through it all he did the best he could as a person with the same weakness as us. He was the greatest man who ever lived -but still certainly a man.
What a crock. "I will not allow myself to be grandiose." "I am not to be reverenced." "Look, you got the second highest score [among the prisoners] on the I.Q. test." Sounds to me like you are flattering yourself. Does the Bible, Prov27:1-2, not teach, O Great Minister, "Boast not thyself ..." but you are to "Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth ... not thine own lips." Man, stop the fraud.
To 3:30, what they fail to admit always is that the reason they even have a successful Service is because of Black Americans and German help tips, but you have a point. Why should we blame white people when it was Africans are the ones that sold the greater Tribes. In a way we all should be happy because we succeeded in greater things. I personally believe that Slave trade was just Karma for what our ancestors did to Arabs. They hold no grudge, why should we?
I blame Whites since they didn't have to buy nor did they have to treat us like garbage to this day. I do believe in self-reliance and self-responsibility, however. I fthe white man treats us like dogs, we shouldn't be willing pets for him. WE need to stand up and be men and say fuck white people. (Not saying all whites are bad BTW).
I'm from North-East Africa so I can tell you what the Arabs were about (some still are) but I would like to hear your ridiculous answer first...................so go ahead.
You're a good person. People who haven't been mistreated by some white people as much as you have complain about racism way more than you do which is very strange. You were right to stand up for yourself against racism obviously, and also right in the way you differentiate between racist whiteys and the majority who aren't. And to talk about each person being responsible more than anyone or anything else for their circumstances.
Ok Brother Tmot. I appreciate this video and thanks for sharing your experiences. If you've moved on from what wasn't meant to be, I won't dwell on the situation any longer. Peace
This is sort of off topic, but are you going to give your opinion or make a video on what you think of pastor's like Bishop Eddie Long and questioned whether they have other motives besides spreading their gospel?
why not? You know that they received more attention that they don't deserved compared to preachers like you. I am sure that you are aware that their are pastors who are in the preaching game for the money
I think a lot of that has to do with age. I was young and it always felt awkward to me saluting someone, especially Officers younger than myself at the time. And acknowledging authority is anathema to young people. :)
Like the old saying goes: When you point your finger at someone, you have 3 pointing back at yourself. We must expect obstacles in life - most of the black leaders of the past had to overcome them and we will too. We must progress in spite of, and refuse to regress into a victim mentality. Good job Tmot.

Okay lets pretend blacks did all of this to themselves and whites did`nt do shit.
So essentially you are saying that blacks are very primitive and stupid and its the only reason blacks are in this position.
Some of ya`ll should be friends Pastor manning should be friends. Its no wonder white people love house negros like Pastor manning so much.
They make whites feel good.Oh yeah and fuck you krackas and all you negroes that love them.Black power bitches.

From what I have seen, most enlisted men would cross the street to not have to salute ANY officer, because they didn't like doing that.
Silveracity 2 years ago
Not the point of the video. You are right causer I did it too. For Black Officers, it was for a different reason with "SOME" White sailors.
That's The Point of that part of the conversation.
