  • Have you ever been to the old gypsum mines in Las Vegas?

  • @Ultramarine I don't think so. What mines are you talking about? Where are they near?

  • @fhood They are just off Ft Apache and blue Diamond road. They are up in the hills. They look more akin to normal caves unless you look hard enough. some rail ties are still in the ground outside. and in one of the many mines if you go deep enough you find part of the rail system

  • @fhood I forgot to say that iirc the area is called desert hills

  • nice guitar piece

  • this is a really good mine it is well preserve. It reminds me of a ghost town.

  • Not something for the claustrophobic I suppose...

  • dam thats creepy!

  • If you look at 1:09 in the video you will see a piece of polypropylene pipe connected to a pipe going into the mine. That type of pipe did not exist until about 1968... so I would say that mine has been used in modern times.

  • i saw that mine when i was on my way back to vegas

  • mines are some of the most interesting places everrr :oo all that history, and eeriness all in one place. the deeper, the more interesting. :P great video btw.

  • u need pick and torches if you gonna survive :D

  • @fudu355 what kinda sentence is that? if they are going to survive they need pick and torches? wtf??

  • @chi6075 i dunno i play mine craft alot ._.

  • Fhood I really enjoy these videos are you planning on making more ?

  • @Heatfire12 Yeah. Hope to get out to some new mines by the end of this month.

  • @fhood Hey do you have a video of you going to the Topaz Mountain mines? --If not you should really go there! I've been they're it was so cool! :)

(I don't remember which state I wanna say Utah or Wyoming)

  • @starcraftflyer17 Utah? Wyoming? I'm still trying to work my way through the mines in California and Nevada! LOL Arizona is next on my list of states to hit up for mines.

  • @fhood Don't die please! Those things are pretty dangerous! But they make entertaining videos!

  • I went in a mine with my dad and my friend and there was a mountain lion in the back so i shit my self and ran with my friend and my dad shot it with a 44. my ears still ring to this day

  • @crypto75837 Your dads an arsehole!

  • Interesting I would have brought a pick it axe and did some digging

  • interesting, I do not have any mines in my area to explore... I think you did a good job with lighting and visibility

  • it must of been musty and dusty in that old abandoned mine

  • I would have loved no music - and hearing you comment on the discovery. The music, personally, doesn't seem to fit.

BUT thank you! It looks so fun to explore the unknown!

  • Nice!

  • Great footage.
