I was a late bloomer too in the respect of figuring it out & FINALLY coming out (of course I identified as bi in high school but boy was I a heck of a lot better at comfortably asking out the girls. lol That prob should have been a BIG tip off too). You're not alone in that. & I think it's great when anyone liberates themself and is true to themself at whatever age. I figured it out and came out at 20 so we're the same in that respect. It doesn't matter WHEN it just matters that you DO IT! :)

Why are you answering the question with examples of early gay experiences?
"Knowing" you are gay refers to when you realized that another male turns you on
(instead of a female). You can be aware of "gay" feelings well before you actually have sex with another man. Didn't you know when you were around 5 years old that other males "excited" you?
i am not sure when i had gay feelings to another male, so thats why i answerd in the way i did, all i know is i have never had or wanted to have sex with a woman, hey have fun
