  • I think it's rather unkind to put the camera right in the conductor's face like that. Every conductor looks a little ridiculous at times.

  • wtf ??!! Mr Bean is the conductor

  • What's with the coughing? >:[

  • fuck everyone who has ever coughed during a concert ever

  • Amazing piece and great version I thought, I just wish they hadn't put the conductor in as many scenes during some of the most technically impressive moments - e.g. 08:44 or 09:00 - I wanted to see the musicians playing those bits!

...still - good to see a younger conductor up there trying something a bit different

  • its no Dvoľak but Dvořák :))

  • 02:32

  • 45 minutes...well...i got nuthin....

  • anyone see the giant cello?

  • Very good and fresh!!

  • To wich film belongs this piece?

  • @alskhfoirthz None!

  • @alskhfoirthz That's no music for a film - it's a symphony ...

  • I hate it when people cough loudly at concerts, especially when they're being recorded

  • love it

  • I want to play in a performance like this someday.

  • Fantastique !!!!

  • i swear, everytime i listen to this piece, it gets better.

  • 2:00 > COLONY WARS

  • Andris Nelson will be a better conductor than Herbert von Karajan.

  • 1:14 look at the guy behind

  • No it's not just you cazzel lol he waves in a weird way to me but anyway the rendition remains very interesting and valuable to me. Thanks for sharing this.

  • Is it just me or does the conductor look like Jack Nicholson making his way through a wooden door with an axe at 4:06

    "Here's Johnny!"

  • Rubberfruit.

  • The strings in here are amazing.

  • We notice other attractive homosexuals in the orchestra as well !

  • The return of "Flash Harry"

  • Wind wizards ?

  • en el 4:50 se prende un porro?? jajaaja!!

  • THIS is music!

  • WOW- yes love the conductor! Watching him I feel as though I should grab an instrument and start playing! INTENSE! Love it! Plus, this is one of my favorite pieces!

  • WOW- yes love the conductor! This is one of my favorite pieces!

  • Andris knows how this symphony should sound. Thanks for uploading.

  • Very nice conductor! I want a boss like this guy!

  • 0:19 don't cough during this music stupid people

  • That conductor is so fun to watch.

  • Second flute/Piccolo seems really skittish to play, like he is afraid of the conductor xD but, a amazing performance I must say :D

  • WTF the composer must be high off his ass. He tries to catch things that are not there.

  • the guy recording the sound is a tosser. technology today MUST be able to cut out the coughing. if not they should be shot. twice.

  • I love the piece, the orchestra and the conductor :) Does anybody know where can i download all the concert? Thanks!

  • This piece is fantastic! But the only problem is, the conductor is somehow trying to be expressive, and ends up becoming like frankenstein. No offense guys, but he's kinda creepy.

  • @Touda134 Couldn't disagree more.

  • @Touda134 Gee I hate it when conductors try to be expressive. Just not necessary.

  • @lb88ful its necessary if it needs to be necessary, his movements shouldn't be of your concern, for the point is to listen, rather than observe

  • I love this piece so much!!! And that conductor.... lol XD

  • The Initials BB

  • no he has his Jim Carry face on...for shure.

  • @ashtonnesmith You've been misunderstood all your life, I suppose.

  • Love the conductor, got his derp face on.

  • @enterthematrix556 IMO this is more of a muppet face than a derp face.

  • Perhaps a fatal electric should be administered to anyone that dares to emit a cough or a fart?

  • im sure those people are purposely coughing to piss you off right?

  • The conductor looks like he belongs in a Harry Potter film.....great energy and very fun to watch. This is my first time hearing this piece and I must say I am very impressed, great build of suspense and overall character.

  • perfect balance and funny conducter. I like this orchestra.

  • d e a (a-a-a) horn: A - A !!!

  • UNE PURE MERVEILLE !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Damn, glad I gave up the cancer sticks. Awesome performance despite the human reaction to smoking...Take some cough syrup before attending a performance like this PLEASE.

  • That conductor fascinates me! :D

His facial expressions are the best ones...

You can see by watching the orchestra, how it understands what exactly the conductor wants... it's just awesome!

    Thanks for posting.

  • ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • @4:58

  • I almost made a clever comment about the coughers, but it seems that everyone has done that already. It is bad enough when they think that the silence in between movements means that they ought to release a storm of coughs, but to cough *over* the piano sections? I am very angry. Great performance, otherwise.

  • This conductor is amazing! I love it when you get conductors that actually appear to enjoy the music and share that passion with the members of the orchestra - for myself, as an orchestral player, it makes so much difference to the performance :D

  • You can see the passion in the conductors face.

  • the conductor was the star of the show

  • vraiment pas interessant.

  • those stupid people coughin!

  • I love the face of conductor, he is really good comediant.

  • you see that the crudoctor has much fun! I like these crudoctors, who always freak out, in a positiv way! :)

  • @luigiistcool do you mean "conducter"?

  • So many are so in love with the finale of this symphony, but I must say I love this movement, it's so oddly written, the recap is nothing but a half step modulation, only Dvorak could do such a thing and keep one's attention

  • yes the orchestra is amazing, yes it is a very good performance, yes i am also a conductor from south america so i envy this guy, but dude!!!!!! your conducting scares the sh*t out of me!!

  • @thisisclay Then you should maybe look at how Dudamel conducts...it is even scarier....

  • YES the orchestra is amazing,YES it is a very good performance, YES i am also a conductor from south america so i envy this guy, but DUDE!!!!!! your conducting scares the sh*t out of me!!

  • am I the only one creeped out by the conductor?

  • @pierre6690 No... He's got a creepy serial killer look :p

  • @pierre6690 how idiotic can you be to see the conductor as a "creepy serial killer". The emotions flows out of the guy

  • @loisivert I never said he was a serial I only meant the way he expressed his emotions was unusual and weird in a funny " creepy " way, iy was meant as a joke, no need to call me an idiot.

  • wankers that have to cough should be escorted outside and have their heads blown off with a shotgun :-)

  • I love these classical concerts of my favorites...but these sick people need to stifle their coughs, or stay the fuck home. Any clue how many people you've just ruined perfection for???

  • @JimmieOC I agree, maybe we could just take them out the back and shoot them? Or maybe burn them ritualistically while the orchastra cover themselves in their victims blood?

  • @JimmieOC none, because nobody gives a shit, and you need to calm down. Just cause you have a cough doesn't you ruined the whole fucking thing.

  • just fantastic

  • @JimmieOC You don't want perfection. Players playing EXACTLY right, EXACTLY in tune and EXACTLY (oh my gosh, capital letters!) at the right time sound like machines. It's good nobody is able to play perfectly. No hall noise or moving people would be creepy as well. You're just used to hear other things than the instruments.

The coughs are annoying, that's very right. But they're part of a phenomenon that makes music "breathe". Makes it sound real and alive.

  • @JimmieOC very blunt, me likey :)

  • @JimmieOC

    What JimmieOC said.

  • Superb!!! Why exists MTV???

    - From Brazil

  • @RupertJones You've got some great uploads here; thank you so much for sharing them!

  • the soundtrack for the new world order:P

  • @brameijk I wonder symphony will be written when the new world order is defeated and the composer will be?

  • The last scene with the conductor frighten me, but it was so intense and amazing, I loved it xD

  • some how he looks like mr.bean....

  • Who, on Earth, desecrated this video with cough?? You slimy, selfish bastard!

  • thats what I look like when i'm pissed conducting beethovens ninth at 2 am.

  • Beautiful! I have this everytime when coming home from the pub. Conducting with my wife´s knitting needle. No, no...no joking - very professional, wonderful and worth listening. Again and again!

  • Andris Nelsons is a ledgend!

  • From 8:44 to the end it's playing to - an all-out massacre I would say - and I know what I'm talking about because I myself play the violin and orchestra here that plays a I play first violin and it's pretty hard...But here it's really beautiful, and sometimes it freezes on the back :D

  • thats at 7.07!

  • Who coughed?..During a performance like this??...My word thats a complete NoNO!

  • Very good.

Last, but not least I'm happy that also the sound qualitiy is good here (you're feeling the space of the hall etc., that's good) and the conduction of the pictures, too

  • @MrHathouse : Why? Because you want to conduct as well, and you're not able to do so? ;-)

  • @MrHathouse perhaps its not the conductor.. its a great piece, very good orchestra and theyre playing it superbly... maybe just envious as not capable of achieving anything remotely similar? so instead find a thing to bash....

  • @homobohemicus Hmm, no, actually I think you'll see I play four instruments (playing mainly folk, a far more fun genre than this boring, self-satisfied, snobbish tripe) and also love drum and bass, which, frankly, there is far more skill in than wobbling around on the spot pleasuring an invisible rhinocerous with one hand, and using the other to clean the snot from the noses of the instrumentallists, in an attempt to remove the hideous nasal twang from their voices, with a giant toothpick!

  • @MrHathouse oh yeah you are more skillful you actually can use a mixer and you know hot to use a turntable all those musicians have wasted their life all that practicing all that studies you are right, Dvorak is so boring...

  • @waffenfrieden I think you're confusing DJing with production. Perhaps it's all the unfunny sarcasm addling your brain? Maybe it's addling your grammar too... "All that studies"?

  • @MrHathouse So wonderful to meet so many open minded people around here.... as well it is more than an honour to meet a musician who can criticize Dvorak as being tripe... well, I guess we will just have to wait for your fiddling and bringing joy to millions... cant wait

  • @homobohemicus I was open minded when I came, it was just the conductor who looked like he was halfway through a faiurly major stroke, boring music, and fans who are clearly a crowd of opinionated, stuck up twats that put me off. I wasn't necessarily criticising all Dvorak, just this particular movement (I quite like "largo" by the way, although it's definately way overplayed on adverts etc). Anyway I hope you one day remove your head from your own bottom; good luck!

  • @MrHathouse No problems there (in connection to my own rear situation advice).... and again it is an honour to meet such an expert...

I can see that you do love to look upon so many around you from what you write here to others. Perfectly sums up your profile. I guess I should leave you to it .. looks like you do enjoy it ... good for you

Kind of silly to write this and ignore what I am here to do... listen to great music that I enjoy.... so farewell and best of luck...

  • @homobohemicus "do love to look upon so many around you from what you write here to others"

Sorry, I have no idea what you mean- I only speak English and French... Well, enjoy your Dvorak (I'm glad somebody does at least!)

  • @MrHathouse Will do enjoy it.... and immensely

  • @MrHathouse Id like to see you try to play a wind instrument! Were not all "stuck up with a nasal twang" as you like to put it. I play the french horn and the electric guitar, and I ENJOY classical music, as well as rock.

  • @ImmatureIdiotsFilms It's funny actually, because my girlfriend plays classical flute, but I pretend not to notice ;). Would you not agree that the conducter looks like a prick though?! Surely you must agree with me on that one?

  • @MrHathouse He does look liek a prick! If I were in the orchestra, I would have thrown my instrument at him.....probably more than once, too

  • @MrHathouse Andris Nelsons? A prick? Noooo!! he is one of my favourite conductors!!

  • Brilliant. I'm going to see Bruckner at the Proms this year. Love it.
