I love this, and am gutted that it is not around anymore or on DVD in the UK :( - Heres hoping some bright spark does an xmas special with them al grown up in the coming years :)
the first series is available on DVD in australia! i purchased it in Hawaii and then stripped the DVD region protection off with DVD Encrptor. Now if the REST would come out
My favourite portion of the programme was when Philip had a Mother's Day card for Maggie. This is so touching because he has come to love and accept Maggie as a mother. Another important portion in the programme is Maggie's speech to the Madison's re. rearing children. It clearly shows that her priorities have changed and she has come to take her role as parent /guardian seriously. Bravo! I wish that the sitcom had lasted a little longer than two years, as I truly enjoyed it.
Many thanks for putting this up. I wish they'd just release the DVD's here. This is a brilliant story and very well written. It's got everything just right. The characters develop, learn and grow as they cope with difficulties and it's delightfully funny. The children are marvellous actors and, of course, I love Penny Keith.
@Lumnewland yep it really is a great sitcom...it should' have run for at least another four series! very funny, sometimes serious, and always brilliant....whether they knew before filming it was getting the chop or not...this is quite a nice final episode...especially the ending!

That you so much for posting this. I thought I'd never get a chance to see this show.
It's probably one of the most intense sitcoms I've ever seen.
Grandchildren VS Grandparents. Quite an unusual premise.
