@CoyBoyyy -Late- It didn't pass H&S Regulations. AT needed to make an evacuation thing, in case the ride got stuck, but it was deemed as too expensive and shut the ride down. Also, it was getting old and hard to maintain.

it's there in the Silver building, but it's now closed down and is due to be replaced by a new ride sometime next year,

Black Hole was awesome, the drops left you weightless cos they just plummeted so harshly and the corners taken so fiercely you nearly got whiplash, the atmosphere was irreplaceable. I hope they can create a new dark ride to top it's scariness and wildness. I will mourn it for the rest of my life.

Well done! When I first heard of Alton, it was because of Black Hole, and this gem was the main reason for me wanting to go, other than Nemmy. I still want to go, but I'll never get the oppotunity to ride BH.

yea the tent is still there but the ride closed in 2005 and the track was ripped out. alton towers are going to put something else in its place but at the moment they havn't got anything in line

it was an old ride and not that popular also newer safety regulations required that alton towers build a stairwell to the top of the track in case of emergency breakdown etc the stairwell and other regulations would cost too much and it wasnt worth it, also many riders were being injured on the ride due to the safety bars. So Alton Towers sold the ride to a park in Brazil i think but they still have the dome although it has no ride inside it now.

This ride kinda reminds me of 'Space Mountain: Mission 2' in EuroDisney which was mintt.

There not putting it back up, the rides gone, just a train and few cars i beleive remain and the odd bit of track.

Shame the original lift hill music can't be found anywhere on the web, miss it loads. I know that RCT3 is very tricky for track layouts but couldn't the jetstar 2 layout be made much more realistic? It doesn't seem to be like that much in this video?

the one major problem with making dark rides on RTC is that you can't make them dark enough, there's no shadow-logic as i call it, so when you build a building and go inside it, it's still bright and sunny, you can just about get a lil darker by switching it to nighttime, using black walls, and using the walls in a clever way to hide the next corner(s) of the track.

sometimes a error happens u need to minimize ur game by pressing the windows button on the keyboard then it will be either something sayin no sis for svd..u can do nothin about it u click ok then rct3 turns off or it would say somthing about debugging it click ok then return to ur game if was the thing about closing down the game delete the file from the folder..sorry i can't cure it some really good stuff is there and it usally sais s no sis for sid

Hey, wikipedia said that it was sold to Brazil. IF that's not true, then wikipedia would have deleted the sentence. But if it was old and dated, they should have renovated it instead of tearing it down.

I know they really should have renovated it as it was a good ride, but it did not meet the health and saftey regulations with the stairs on the lift hill so they had to take it down as well as costs of maintanace. Wiki have changed it, it says Brazil has no such requirments. I would say they will use the track again tho. but not the cars

Well, it needs to be dark, much longer, 2 stations, a brake run at the end and the cars are a gold colour. That should help you

The ride was shit scary because you did'nt know where you were going, but it closed because it was becoming dangerous and kept breaking down.
