u actually would have prefered an epiphone to a gibson, nd i have a friend with aan epi nd gibson les paul nd the gibson is in a different league nd is built a whole lot better dnt bother with epiphone unless it isnt a gibson copy

i wudnt recomend modeling bands cuz u nvr learn ur own sound

I would definitely recommend this over a Fender any day. However the newer version of this amp, the Spider IV is not as nice. So I would say go with a Spider Valve or a Line 6 half stack.

Depends, my 15w was an OK starter Amp, was something I was content with until I purchased my MG100HDFX+MG412 cab. Now, even that is a poor decision, but it is really how you progress and how you feel about amp types. Im heading towards a tube amp next time around, Fender Hot Rod Deville 212, very nice amp, but a pretty penny :/

That is a good question... idk man but there is a setting called Riggs and i use it for pretty much everything... its a really sharp tone but also extremely heavy
