mashing is a part of the game, but it's something that I've never done myself. you just have to deal with it. when i occasionally play as zangief, my opponents are always doing a quick block string and then jumping because they expect me to be mashing SPD. but they are always surprised that I never do it. I don't need to mash out a SPD....my reactions are good enough :)

this "mashing" is kinda convenient when you play a grappler like THawk >.> When you are pressured with long links, you can buffer the grab for it to activate when your opponents mess up the frame trap link. Same goes for the DP characters... so why the hell are you complaining. I want to see YOU do a 720 on reaction of those few frames you get when your opponents mess up a link...

Nothing wrong with that ultra timing, he knew when to do it and in the end you do what you have to do to win, mash, spam call it what you want in some matchups you can only do so much vs a bad match for your character, props to KojiKog always fun to watch.

"Mashing" is the most primitive option select there is. Don't bash it, use it when appropriate to let the other player know you are willing to take that risk. Make them hesitate using frame traps on you.

Most of the time I hit but if I don't then I get hit with the mash. At the time I used akuma so if I missed 3 combos, that's most of my HP right there -_-
