  • how Creamy!!

  • She didn't even touch her water lol

  • as a lawyer: the resolution of the Management Board should be in writting!!

  • I was named after her

  • zero dislikes WOW there are more gay men online than I had imagined

  • Can someone please tell me what episode this is from? Thanks.

  • Damn! I love Alexis \o/

  • @JRSueEllen omg yes!!! you totally nailed that one!

    come on, get happy!!!

  • You can tell Joan was from the old school glamour era of Hollywood. She plays it all liek an old movie queen. love her!

  • I think Sable was always more high class...you can tell by Sable's English accent...it sounded as if it was from a higher stock. But Alexis was still GREAT!!!!!!!

  • @Tenor5274 Sable was alright but she was 2nd class to my Alexis!

  • @jrmetmoi both equally had their strengths and weaknesses but for my part Sable had Alexis' number. :)

  • @Tenor5274 Again, where did Alexis and Sable get their business acumen? Prior to inheriting Colbyco from her husband of 2 seconds (Cecil Colby), Alexis had spent her time being Blake's lovely wife and giving birth to 4 children. Then, she became a professional whore which led Blake to banish her from Denver. She lived in Aculpoco for 16 years. Sure, she & Sable may have had the money to buy large blocks of stock, but that doesn't mean they could run multi-billion $ companies.

  • @Tenor5274 Sable had Alexis' old, cancelled and changed number! LOL Yay Team Alexis!

  • wonderful this great actress

  • Go head, Alexis! You are the Queen of EVERYTHING...

  • She is so powerful in this scene. Commanding like a true Queen.

  • Blake look so pretty in this clip.. He has a glow about him..

  • @bella22010 Blake was a good looking old guy right up until the time he died practically! His hair was gorgeous back in Dynasty, and his skin held up quite well, not baggy and wrinkly really.

  • love how alexis askes Adam for a glass of water that she never drinks.

  • @hardrein101 And which she can pour herself...the glass and jug are right in front of her lol

  • @brinpol but she didnt drink any of it.

  • @mitzi7416 I know, haredin101 already said that, and I'm not blind...

  • Alexis is the Queen of the Bitches...LOVE HER!

  • Pardon you, you language is somewhat crude...she is the queen bee. not a queen of a bitch or several others. she is less.

  • I so love the way Alexis takes control here!

  • i love how she talks. She just sounds so high class and devenere

  • @TechForThought Or perhaps "debonair?"

  • That's the scene Bette Midler's character tries to replicate on the movie ''Big Business''. Very funny!

  • That was funny with Bette Midler threatening to fire everyone. She was really copying Alexis. LOL.

  • @JhomasE lmao I always remember that scene from big business

  • awsome...love you joan!

  • Who else could do such business in such a hat?!

  • absolutely!

    hehehehe!

  • Dorian Cramer Lord on "One Life to live". She pulled an "Alexis" and took over her ex-boyfriend's company.

  • Yes she did and did so with a much better hat! LOL

  • Yeah, especially with her suit and hat on that episode!

  • Joan Crawford could have done this seen too, she had the same domineering distinction.

  • Except that Joan Crawford's characters were often shrill or damaged.

Joan Collins plays neither, Joan Collins has been accused of being a one note actress, if indeed true, it's a note of steel.

  • How many Emmy awards did she win? I don't think anyone could play an evil bitch the way she did.

  • Joan didn't win an Emmy for Dynasty although she should have. You're right, no could play the evil bitch role the way she did.

  • Correction: She won a Golden Globe for her role on Dynasty. Which is BETTER than an Emmy any day.

  • No one can carry a hat in such a bitchy way as Alexis Carrington Colby Dexter Rowan !

  • Pure genius. Basically Joan Collins was and is the only actress that could do such a scene without seeming like a sad beaten down female characther but one of fortitude! Incredible!

  • Great to this clip again! I've only seen it again being used in the Bette Midler movie, called Big Business. The clip was used by Bette as an example of how a great businesswoman would act!

    Thanks for posting

  • Same here. Thats where I first saw this scene too.

I almost know this scene word perfect thanks to Bette Midler. Thats real sad, I know. Nice to this scene in full glory.

  • One of those guys looks JUST like Alfred Hitchcock.
