  • I recall seeing them 'live' at the Sydney Opera House in the early eighties on that little stage we all did gigs on at one time or another.

    They were truly, from my point of view anyway, the best indigenous Aussie band of any time. So sad that George is gone now!

    I remember staying up very very late with my mum watching stompen ground live on ABC and the Warumpi Band blew us away!

  • If you are talking about the band I think you are its the PIGRAM BROTHERS they are fantastic and from Broome. TIDDAS too!!! and of course Yothu Yindi.
