i had an 86 with the 305 paid $600 for it because it sat for a while and needed some tlc i put new factory quadrajet carb on it and it ran like a champ... the 305s are junk put its still a verry fun and cool car to have im going to get another.

im about to get that exact same car but in blackcherry for a $1000 from my cousin but i heard those engines run hella slow is there anything to do to beef it up and make it run faster plus i heard if you put it in reverse then slam it into 1st gear it will do a posi burnout

It is the IROC and it is carbureted, just air cleaner and hood is changed.
