  • Both players make big mistakes its a lame game. Also unit count DOESN'T MATTER! Why do you keep bringing it up. In the early game first 10 min sure, but late game who gives a shit.

  • fuck my youtube lagging shit its just buffering every minute

  • This game was a perfect example of how skilled Naniwa really is. He almost clinched victory while he was way down early game. A true champion.

  • shitty game did not care to finish watching after what seemed like tarson's lil bro started playing.

  • @DanToretto1 Let's get mad at people on the internet!

  • sucks seeing tarson win. he's a whinny bitch with awful unit control. all i could think of at 18:30 was "hook, line, and sinker" when tarson feel for the bait of "oh hey free colossi for your vikings... PSYCH!" rofl. i remember HD commentated a game of his a long time ago and he started bitching saying "yeah i lost but look you have no upgrades and i do and i have better macro waahh wahh wahhh *leaves*" lol. moron :) thanks for the game artosis, even though it was pretty slow (not your fault)

  • Biological, not bionic. Hahaha

Anyway, great casting. Keep up the good work

  • Naniwa certainly did a reasonable job recovering from the proxy gate, and then expanding to his 3rd base, however the biggest reason for losing was the heavy colossus investments, costing so much gas, having to go stalker heavy to fend off vikings, leaving little gas for upgrades, he should switched to immortals and made more upgrades like charge and weapons atk, some high templars would have helped also, and yes, pf are waaay op

  • lol naniwa is supposed to be meatyowllegs the number one ranked player in the world? i dont think so

  • "Look how many upgrades there are here... OH MY GOD...."

  • I'm surprised by the lack of Templar in this game, but then, what do I know.

  • I'm happy artosis symphasizes with pvt Planetary fortresses.

  • great micro by naniwa. why tarson didn't end the game 15mins earlier i don't even know.

  • please stop saying vikingflower

  • Toss had it in the middle of the game...dunno wtf he pulled away for. Terran stopped making tanks, which he needed...why didn't toss get any storm?

  • @chesmaster2ky I think its because he already comitted to Collosus. If he stopped making them around the middle of the game, and switched to HT, then yeah he would've been able to fund it.

  • I'm pretty sure they played how they did to try to make an "epic" and long replay since they were advertising a replay website.

  • @MrSockfoot No that's not what happened. They played a game, the replay was released and the site edited the replay to advertise themselves.

  • man i'm sick of these "good" terran players not scouting their base after the first supply depot gets finished.

  • Thanks for the interesting game, naniwa made good decisions in a bad situation.

  • 2 noobs

  • no zealot legs, no storm, wtf nani.

Blink micro vs vikings is great but what is even better is just going something like heavy immortal/chargelot and storm versus that. That was just complete unwillingness to adapt.

  • "clickedy click click click!"

  • Morons still living in the past and thinking marauders are OP. They wonder why terrans always go marauders.. well they sure as hell cant go tanks as you see in this game how cost inefficient they are against protoss. Also mules and lift off arent OP (what a dumbass) and planetary fortress will be fixed next patch by prioritizing scvs to be attacked.

  • Amazing game.

  • a couple op terran tactics: his expansion got attacked, so he lifted it and relocated; planetary can't be killed

  • Planetaries, Mules, and Lift-off are OP.

  • @gavnastyyy nobody cares about your bronze league opinion about those things rofl. learn the game first.

  • meh, close game, but awful mistakes by both players made it that close. nAniwa's awful macro and Tarson's awful positioning.

  • Thank you Artosis for giving us games to watch in between seasons of the GSL. I got the premium pass for all the GSL seasons and look forward to many more SC2 tournaments with you and Gom.

  • this marine spread at 03:28 so good

  • pro lagger inheartbeat lol :D seen him other games also, lagging as hell

  • both players really skittish, weird

nAniwa had maybe one or two chances to take the game, shouldn't have engaged the PF with gateway forces, Tarson had MANY chances to take the game but finally at the end won from attrition (efficient MM+viking army combined with MULEs). Tarson needed upgrades badly.

  • so glad i suscribed

  • Still finding hard to comprehend how people can say terran/ marauders are imba, when the numbers!!!!!! tell us protoss is winning 59% of games against terran. I mean seriously wtf is with people.

  • @jfhudson38 the metagame shifts back and forth, terran midgame is strong but endgame is weak, blah blah blah, most people aren't good enough for it to matter.

  • Comment removed

  • @jfhudson38 just becouse that protoss are winning doesnt mean that marauders arnt imba i am not saying they are im jut saying that percenteges arnt always a reliable recource

  • Comment removed

  • IMBA MARAUDERS!!! FTW!!! BLIZZARD SUCKS AT BALANCING

  • @skullmanwizard Youre a moron if you think marauders are OP.

  • how exctly does pdd work?

  • @fowad27 it shoots missile type attacks right outta the air.

  • @EclipseClemens But does it remove all missiles until it runs out of energy? Or a certain percentage of attacks? And does it deflect attacks aimed at it? because there'd be no point in focusing it down then.

  • @fowad27 it doesn't deflect everything, dunno if it's a percentage or a certain number of missile attacks per unit of time, but either way it's worth it to focus fire on it

  • @ittarter I think it has a rate of fire, so if there are two missile attacks in the air, it only takes down one of them and the other one hits its target. Therefore if you focus it down some of the attacks must go through.

  • @fowad27 It only can shoot down a missile if it has enough mana, and can only shoot so many times per second. But, assuming there's one hydra/marauder/viking/etc. shooting, the PDD will shoot all the attacks out of the air, nullifying the attack, until it runs out of mana/time/etc.

  • @EclipseClemens "and can only shoot so many times per second." So basically it has a rate of fire, yes? In that case, are there units that fire faster than it can deflect? I think the battlecruiser might, since it fires so quickly.

  • @fowad27 Those are lazers, the battlecruiser doesn't fire missiles, and therefore is immune to this effect, as are a ton of other units, such as marines, tanks, roaches, void rays, etc. But yes, fast shooting units, or masses of units are both capable of taking them down.

  • @EclipseClemens "But yes, fast shooting units, or masses of units are both capable of taking them down." Hydras have pretty fast fire rate, probably the fastest with a missile attack, so can one individual hydra fire fast enough to get some shots in, or is the pdd still too fast?

  • @fowad27 I think it can shut down at least one hydra, but they run out of energy pretty fast. Why don't you just go check? XD

  • @EclipseClemens too lazy ;p

  • Protoss is so fucking OP.

  • @atherhand how are protoss op

  • @kia427 chronoboost is so unfair

  • omg... both had the game to lose. First tarson with the game won, let naniwa mass up, then naniwa just need to end the game with mass colossus and stalker, but delayed and didn't get any upgrades, no zelot charge but massed zelot. then tarson finally won since those nasty lift of comannd center are imba

  • Great cast on a great game. Still looking for the toss win ;).

  • naniwa had that easy

  • I love you artosis!!!! have merry christmas

  • nAniwa played rly bad at my opinion, when he had the lead, he had to switch for massive immortal with upgrades, tarson only had marauders and viking .. thats what the immortal exacly counter

  • @vltp005 completely agreed, Immortals are too sadly under use. I feel like once terran start to invest into vikings and marauders, they should definitely go for more immortals since they are super strong to hit.

  • @chenheisthebest 3 stim rauders kills an immortal and vs marines its even more 1 sided. nani needed to get ht, even if terran suicides 2x as much money of vikings to take out your collo he'll still win simply because bio shits on gateway units.

  • @shutuporeles2 That's why u wanna go for storm. Storm shits on any terran bio. Extremly OP and easy to use. Sad but true =/

  • @chenheisthebest immortal had nothing to do with it.he had +3+3 and naniwa had 0-0.with terran stim that like just asking them to roll over you.he needed to upgrade.

  • @gmanthebeast1 well even if he had upgrades he still would have needed immortals. First 10 shots from marauder is always 10 damage against immortals. And they are much harder to focus fire than colossus.

  • @chenheisthebest nah he needed charge and upgrades.

  • @vltp005 marauders with medivac and tank support rape immortals AND terran can easily transition to marine/marauder mix and wipe out immos easily, then toss loses game. toss must invest into multiple robos to produce "massive immortal" then has nothing to show for it. Yeah, great game plan :P

  • @ittarter actualy, if u ask me what is the counter to marauders, ill awnser immortals, if u ask me what is the counter to tanks, ill awnser immortals and zealots, if u ask me what is the counter to viking, ill awnser any groud unit exept for the collosus, so immortal would be the best transition to do, im a top5 diamond 2k player, and my main race is protoss ,i know my stuff

  • @vltp005 provide a link to a single pro game where toss goes "mass immortal" against bioball. 2k diamond my ass.

  • @ittarter im not talking about massing immortal but make it as a support unit instead of the collosus

  • @vltp005 You originally said "when he had the lead, he had to switch for massive immortal with upgrades" so perhaps you misspoke. Another good way to go is to feint colossus to cause terran to overinvest in vikings THEN immo attack.

  • the planetary fortress is op not because of it's damage or defense, it's OP because when SCV's repair it and you A move into the planetary, your melee units will prioritize attacking the planetary over the scv's repairing it, even if melee units like the zealot or zerglings can't even attack it because theres so many svc's in the way. Blizzard is hopefully nerfing this in the next patch by making scv's have a higher priority of attack.

  • @burayan7 They've already announced that they're going to fix it by giving the scvs repairing the same aggro as whatever they're repairing.

  • @burayan7 and that's why in the next patch, they will fix it so that units will attack the repairing scvs first.

  • @burayan7 hurray, terran is going to have a even more harder time to deal with getting an outward expansion

you know what else is amazing? protoss being able to bounce back into midgame after dealing with a greatly orchestrated probe harass

    pfff "OP".

  • @burayan7 not in patch 1.2

  • @burayan7 called storm the scvs

  • @burayan7 so why don't you micro your units to attack the scvs first? i mean all i hear from bitchy zerg players about banelings is "amg you need to micro your marines better so they don't all die" but then they want the PF fixed so they don't have to micro themselves.

  • Got a little dry towards the end, but otherwise a very entertaining game.

  • Didn't like how nAniwa played at all...

Late workers, late gas, late TC. No Forge at all. And it bothered me quite some that at early game he got supply blocked so many times, even when you have so many minerals.

But that's in oberservers view of course ;)

  • @VincentSchraa Playing catchup is tough. His proxy put him behind and he was trying to prepare for Tarson's midgame push which... never... happened. Hindsight is 100%. btw he got supply blocked when his proxy pylon was destroyed. Were there other instances?

  • That was a sick sick game...

  • i dont agree with nAniwa unitcomposition! he should has built Immortals. tarson only has built Vikings, tanks and marodeurs...and the PF would has been destroyed by immos...-.-

  • @Nutzername3107 The vikings are only made vs the colossi, if he made immortals instead, they would have been medivacs. More importantly, immortals would not do well in the small chokes of this map with a bunch of gateway units. They would all just bunch up and run into each other with no concave.

  • @kentliu At least someone here is talking sense.

  • Artosis, you should make a small wrap-up of the game when the game ends at the end of it. You know, like the key elements n'stuff; well, just like you do at the GSL ;-)

    (Can't w8 for season 4 !!)

Even if there are other good diamond ranked commentators everywhere (and I admit they are more "flashy" than you) in the end, I think your analysis of SC2 tactics and decision making, especially high end games, is above all.

You should make good use of it. :-)

  • @mightydigebuge do you know when GSL 4 and the Code S tournaments are supposed to start?

  • @mightydigebuge incredible awesome idea!!!!!!!!!!

  • Are u guys retarded? PTs are Op? Protoss and Zerg both have defenses that could be put up any where (Spine Crawler, Cannon) They dont need to be manned either by a bunker. But if terran had something of an unmanned Defense, Scvs repairing it would make it unbeatable. Like just putting it in someones base then brining all scvs. So they had to make a defenseive structure to protect the CC with no units. Thus, the formation of the Planter y Fortress.

  • @XxXSkidXxX Spine Crawlers require creep and Cannons require being in range of a pylon. Also the crawlers and cannons can be shut down very easily. So the question now is, are you retarded? PTs are ridiculously stronger than crawlers and cannons even completely unmanned.

  • @detached9 but you lose your OC which means fewer MULEs which means replacing econ is harder unlike toss and zerg when the inevitable attacks hit on your expos. PF (not PT) is more about what you're NOT getting.

  • 9:09 - 9:15

  • Terran OP.

  • @noobenstein not sure if serious

  • That attack into semi invincible planetary lost naniwa the game

  • @klonere Thanks for spoiling it douchebag.

  • @CelicnaRukaPravde There are always someone spoiling something in the comments. Do like everybody else who don't like spoilers and just don't read the comments before watching the video.

  • @CelicnaRukaPravde You spoiled it by reading the comments before watching the video.

  • Wow excellent game, thanks for casting it!

  • Someone should walk to Tarsons house and quote Day9:

"When you have a lot of stuff just go fucking kill him!"

I mean seriously... he was T H A T far ahead and then does nothing and I mean really nothing for 15mins? >........<

  • pls give us some gisado replays, just watched tester vs fruitdealer was so epic.

  • Sweden represent, woo :D

  • The first view, I will now kill myself.

  • @TheAngelicAce Why?

  • @GodofCider it was a figure of speech, explaining my joy.
