Why are Shenmue fanboys asking why someone doesn't have the game in their top 10? It's a niche game and both were considered commercial failures. More people could care less about the game then there are people that love it.

Get over it. The fanaticism of Sega fanboys borders on disturbing. Sonic Adventure? How about Jak & Daxter, Rachet & Clank, or Sly Cooper? Shenmue? Animal Crossing got higher scores. Soul Calibur? How about its sequel for Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube (with Link)? Shenmue 2 is better; its only for Xbox. Crazy Taxi and Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 have been ported countless times. Phantasy Star Online 1, 2, and 3 are only for Gamecube--and they got average scores. Jet Grind Radio is on Xbox/GBA.
Dreamcast never had full power ultilize, and the only game that also utilize more of the power of the Dreamcast game Shenmue was that 60% also utilize the power of DC.
will not compare ps2 games last like God of War, GT5, devil my cry 3 and other games as they were released when PS2 was already long in the market and the producers knew exploit its full potential.

Dreamcast was way behind its time. It was dramatically less powerful than the PS2, which in turn was about half as powerful as the Gamecube and Xbox. It barely qualified as a sixth-generation system, it died quickly, and it was overpriced and overhyped.
@bumtaksi why? cos it doesn't involve quick scoping and noob tubing? because it wasn't in a era where all games are nothing but simulations reflecting on today's society? no my friend, they are not garbage! they are games from an era where they are there as GAMES!! i.e play for fun! Does anyone really know why the Dreamcast didn't last long? It doesn't really make much sense, this should have lasted way longer. Nevermind the fact it was the first console to have a built in modem for online play, but it had great games as well. It really was ahead of it's time.
There's a lot of reasons, and many people will tell you that PS2 doomed or it didn't have DVD. I think the reason is the Sega Saturn. Ending that system early really messed them up financially, and I don't think they ever really recovered. If they never abandoned the Saturn, they might have been in better shape to keep supporting the Dreamcast.
@dunnono00 I personally believe it's due to advertisement. I mean sony is a huge company who took advantage of that and advertised the hell out of their systems, and got third parties to hop in immediately and gain the support of different types of gamers. Sega, unfortunately lacked greatly in advertisement. Though the Dreamcast is one of the best systems ever created, due to their lack of advertisement and third party support, the system ultimately had no chance against sony and nintendo.

Even today Sega Dreamcast games still look great. They remind me of how great arcade games looked in the late 90's and how incredible it was to see them at home. I'm always reminded of that feeling when I see a Dreamcast game in action.
