hey i used to own a z28 that used to eat 350z....... but i had a 5.7 lt1 with corvet heads i got out of a junk yard a rv cam edelbrrock tunnel ramintake bbk 58 mm throtelbody hocker headers 3in pipe no mufler t-56 6speed 4.10 gears rear end siting on 27 in tall micki topsons ob had to lift the ass of the car up and msd box and wires coil hole shabang ran 11.9 in qorter with a 100 shot of spray but u did good switch to manual huge difrance

That Z should have won. Bad driver. And that was definatly the older Z not an HR one because this mustang along with any other stock mustang gt would be in the dus

@jabba12000 yes i would beat him. The car ran a 13.7 at 104 later that summer. The car is a 6 speed standard.

Just because he ran a 13.7 doesn't mean he could do it when this video was taken. Also 07 and 08 z's can do 13.3 so this was possibly and oler one.

@jabba12000 Yes as the titled states its a 03. I was first told it was a 06 before we raced. and yes the car has never changed as the car was never modded so it will at least run close to a 13.7. Im not saying my mustang is a blaze of speed. i know its not with its nice 2.73 rear gear....... but it beat this 350z more than once. you don't have a turbo lmfao. do you ot thik I know everyone in lex? you just cut your mufflers off and added a intake.... all the scon run proves is you jumped and still I pulled up to you even on the top end.

ok my first and third run sucked but the second run is not posted on there i flew past him and i didnt take off right on those runs now i got alot of mods on it such as Greddy Single Turbo, Dual exhausts and headers and AEM Intake good race dude

05 stangs only walk 05 Z's. HR will say goodbye to the Z.

That was an 05 or lower 350z with no driving skills. Unless you swapped out the led headlights and taillights for the less appealing ones of the older model Z.Either way the Z should have killed the old 215hp mustang.

you were right i talked to the guy again last night and its a 03 not a 06. id say the mustang is putting about 220 to the wheels how it sits. 350z prob about 240-250.... the reason the mustang jumped out like it did and stayed out is tourqe..... the Z cant compare on the low end. even with the STOCK 2.73 gear in the mustang

yeah man i thought the nissan would win too and im a huge mustang fan. and yeah my 94 only has 215 ponies but i got a ton of torque, and with my 4.10s and the 5 speed i would have ate up that nissan:)

@suprbird that nissan was pretty quick. it ran a 13.7 at 104. from a roll its hard for him to stay in his power band unlike a stang which has good torque in almost any rpm

an 06 rev up 350z and a 05 stang are very close, driver will determine the outcome...everyone sees these stupid vids with auto z's or people who cant drive the 6spd. own both cars and then talk to me..

@rebeldriver Nope, an 07+ Z with the HR motor will slowly pull on the top end with an 05+ GT.

haha. something is terribly wrong here. I used to have a 95 Stang GT, the last year of the 5.0. and I currently have an 07 Z. the mustang I used to have was not even close to the Z. it was a coupe too, so it was a lighter stang. btw, it was automatic too. i think if you have a supercharger or a chip, then this would be a different story.

No this is my car, no chip, no supercharger, no spray. has the 5.0 with exhaust - headers back. CAI and intake thats it. still using the stock crap e7 heads.....
