When I first saw it back in 2008 I was in utter shock, since no korean man has won any medals in swimming and let alone a Gold Medal at that~!
I was proud but then I had no idea he was going to be hot too, its hard to tell with the swimming cap on~!

park and pak are the same thing. park is used as the "name" sort of and pak and bak is used as the romaization. bak being the official romaization and pak being the one people often incorrectly use as the romaization, but still the same thing

true. park tae hwan got silver as he was about 1 second later than phelps. at this age, phelps had not medals. i can tell you that park tae hawn will win phelps one day. he is only 18 years old here!

i was still new here in korea when i first saw him in a TV ad and i've liked him since then...we were on our way to DMZ (near the north and south korea boarder) when we saw this race through my friend's cellphone..and then i fell more in love with him ...:-)
