I never thought the Distillers and Rancid sounded anything alike. The Distillers have always been one of my favorite bands but I've never been that crazy about Rancid.

ive never thought it was a spot on similarities.. but the same rawness on the vocals altough brody sounded more like courtney love than tim at most times.. but i still thought the music was influenced by her relationship with tim and his style of music..

and since now shes married to josh homme it seems like its more influenced by his band like its got more of that morden/artsy rock feel to it..

dont get me wrong, i love both bands.. hopefully spinerette will do a tour soon..

I've never heard Brody's new band till now. This song is pretty good! I love the Distillers old stuff (self titled album and Sing Sing Death House) but it's cool to see her doing other things.

Sing Sing Death House is one of the best albums of all time!
