i am an american, and i must agree with some of the negative backlash offered towards americans in this regard. americans, people in a free society, get the president(s) they deserve. just look at our illiteracy rates, high school test scores: our nation is getting dumber by the second. however, i do believe there are internal forces within the government that influence who is/isn't elected that we (the people) have absolutely no control over....
