  • Don't mean to sound ignorant but I am wondering if this song about the Apartied in South Africa or is this about something else? I guess I was thinking its about SA since DM has SA roots? Can you clear this up for me?

  • i love this song <33 so sad .

  • Its very unfortunate that people still support these horrific imperialist wars. And whos interest are the fought for? Ours? I think not? The working poor always die for the rich. Its not right, its not fair, its not freedom. The miracle of human liberation will be accomplished eventually, ruling classes beware! We working millios, the opressed, the exploited, we will take back whats rightfully ours, and we'll never fight for you anymore.

  • The 1800's called, they want their communist propoganda back.

  • Bush just called. He wants his henchman back.

  • swing and a miss

  • Bit more recent then that, I'd say.

    But w/e.

  • ya I know it's a stretch, but 1900's just doesn't have same effect

  • great job, i absolutely love this song and i was hoping there would be a video like this somewhere.

  • my favorite song by my favorite band.

  • yes, and I find this live version, I can't quite remember if it the gorge or luther, the best rendition i have

  • luther college is an acoustic album and gorge is a full band one.

  • this isnt luther

  • I know the Gorge was full band. But several songs, like "Cry Freedom" were performed by Dave solo. Listen to it if you don't believe me. I'll take your word that this isn't luther and I am pretty sure it is the Gorge version then.

  • yea its got to be the gorge then...Great song, and cool video!

  • Often the first song of the encore is Dave doing a song solo. I was at the Gorge that night. I saw it and heard it with my own eyes and ears. It was rather memorable!

  • Nice video, nice music. 400,000 American millitary personnel died during WWII paying the ultimate sacarfice, along with millions of Europeans, Russians etc.

  • I'm assuming you made this video?

  • yes, assumption correct
