just to let you guys know that I have a friend that works for apple and he suggested not to buy a keyboard cover because the macbooks breath through the keyboard and it can course the mac to overheat and apple wont help you if it does because it is not a manufacturer fault

Keyboard covers are a very bad idea. Heat comes out inbetween the keys. Its part of the cooling system.

@kalijasin Mac sells keyboard covers on their website. They wouldn't sell something that would damage your MBP.

And heat does not go out through the keys. All the heat goes out through the black strip on the back
