It's not that we're afraid to try new foods its just because Americans are finicky to eating certain aspects of animals such as the tongue is a no no and also stuff like the brain the intestines and such. We mostly only like the real meaty muscle parts of animals so the animals we slaughter are usually not fully used up they just throw the rest away. watch a meat packing plant vid or something. It's all about appearance when it comes to food.
