This Steve Martin Special is my ALL TIME fave of Steve Martin stuff!!!!! I tape recorded it with my little dinky audio recorder because that's all that was accessible to me and I wanted a copy of it so bad!!!!! So I'd sit and listen to the audio of it over and over and giggle myself silly!!! Ah, good times, good times!!!!!

I just saw Cool Hand Luke for the first time and hearing Strother Martin's voice again made that phrase come up to my mind repeatedly. They do that so well.
I can't believe I type in 'Steve Martin Turtle' and got this memory. I remember hearing this episode back in the early 80's while half asleep on the couch and burst out, laughing my ass off... "The way you want it "That's the way I want it."
Looks like I'm alone in this far removed piece, except for 'apcoom'... Thanks for the chuckle.
