I grew up to Eddie Palmieri!!! I can only identify a few words here and there, but fi I must say... This is some magical music... How it's arrange, how's there no limit to where the song can go!!! Eddie Palmieri is a musical genius and his piano skills are impeccable!!! And me being a conga player, I love the guaguanco on the bongo solo... It's just amazing how beautifully this track is arranged!!!]

No mompita, el registro de Lalo es insuperable, tal vez Frankie Ruiz llegaba hasta alla o mas que el mismo Lalo. Quintana es muy bueno, no se niega, pero en cuanto a notas altas no hay nada que hacer con La lo y Frankie.

This recording of this song featuring Lalo ( a great dynamic ranged vocalist ) and Eddies band at its most dynamic prooved that NY Salsa was at the cutting edge. Salsa can be so commercialized and dumbed down to serve the lowest common denominator. Eddie makes no comprimises !
